Hey guys, I have a squirrel problem. This large wiring harness got chewed up, and now the truck won't start. This is the harness that runs from under hood fuse panel, to the inside fuse panel under driver side kick panel. We stuck a harness in from salvage yard, but still have no fire to truck. Does anyone have experience with this that can help guide me?

I made the mistake of only seeing the back side the first time I checked it. Duh, it was clean. So I pulled the whole thing out and cleaned it up! Hopefully it helps!

The cleaner I got is that double pack with throttle body cleaner at Walmart. When I was spraying, some came out the side of the tube and left a white residue on my hand. Isn't it supposed to be a non-residue solvent? Because now I can't help but think that there's residue on my MAF sensor.

Did you look DOWN into the MAF sensor? There are two small wires recessed in the black plastic covering that extends out that aren't obvious. I had to clean mine twice because I never saw those wires the first time and still threw the lean code.

Please do post about the process and company you used to source the new leather. I have an old steering wheel that I'd like to recover as well.

It took me around 4-5 hours putting my wheelskins leather cover on. The toughest part was trying to stretch the leather out in order for the stitches to be fully closed. My factory steering wheel cover was in good shape and I just put the wheelskins over it which may have been why I was struggling with getting it in place. I think it was well worth it. I like the added thickness it gives my steering wheel.

I personally can't stand the feel of wheel covers. Thick non OEM steering wheels drive me nuts

Oddly enough I don't drink, but sans herbage breaks, probably about 6 hours... :hippie:

I'd like to to that to my wheel but it's down to bare metal. I don't know how it got that way, whether the previous owner had a dog yet didn't see one or he must've had killer road rage.

No, I didn't. I had it already put back in when my friend suggested a second wire. I guess I was hoping it didn't exist, so thank you for clarifying that they do! I'll pull it back out tonight and see how it looks. I'm not getting a lean code, but there's no doubt it needed it.
