What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Replaced the upstream a/f sensor. FAWK THAT CONNECTOR ON TOP OF THE TRANSMISSION! I don't know how these are supposed to look, but dealing with a p0171 and this was next on my list.

Started the install of sound deadener. Also installed the Infinity 6500CX in the front and Polk DB651 in the rear. The Polks fit using just the ring that comes with the speakers. They clear the window by about 1/8" I had some spacers in there with my old Concepts so I removed those. My rear door panel was all ready trimmed up on the inside so I don't know for sure if the Polks will clear the stock door trim but I think they might.

I managed to get the two driver side doors done in 4 hours including the speakers. This is gonna take longer than I thought. Oh well, guess I'll just have to take Friday off. lol

while your at it, spray some fluid film inside the panels. Just little bit

so this is what i came up with today to mount the rock lights. They might get ripped of. MAYBE! But they are above the rock sliders so i hope not. The lights were not expensive so it wouldn't be the end of the world. But it might just hold up great.





These will be white, under the rocker panels.








Just used a existing hole that i guess the old steps mount to.




They are pretty tucked in there. I dont want to drill into my floor to mount them flush. Although i will have to drill into my rear quarter fender to mount the other ones.

Pretty good, for the most part unless your hard core rock crawling, you won't ever hit them. Having them in your wheels are very nice even for general trails on horrible nights. I also like them for doing work on a vehicle at night. My lights are completely adjustable from color and intensity, so that good.

But having the brackets and your setup makes it easier to swap out to a different light versus mine I can't.

got the rear end re geared to 5.29 and got the wheel bearings and axle seals done since they were leaking. now gotta save up to get the front done. barely picked it up. will post up how i feel with it on such low gearing. i have 285s.

Yeah that's where it has to be cleaned. I don't think that other part matters.

Got a tablet mount in the mail today, will be installing in the morning. Also, waiting on parts to arrive for the tire carrier and need to find time to build it between work and school and Easter coming up.

Picked up a 2002 with 177k on it last weekend and took the day off to start tackling some projects. Waiting on a boat load of maintenance items to arrives (rad, trans cooler, t-belt, valve cover gaskets, etc.)

Cleaned 15 years worth of farts out with a Bissell SpotClean. Had planned on renting a Rug Doctor but Big Lots had these reman'd for $50 and it was definitely worth the gamble. This will see a lot more use in the future.

Also installed a new budget minded stereo and am extremely impressed.

Clarion XC1410 4ch Mini Amp. Bought this with the idea of mounting it behind the headunit. Fits like a glove

Went with Crutchfield's "House Brand" Sound Ordnance P-67CB component speakers for the front and P-65B coaxials for the rear. They're cheap but sound remarkably balanced without harshness, the tweeters being 3/4" silk dome might help that.

Clutch slave removed

Redoing the whole hydraulic clutch system because there are a couple of small leaks and I think the slave was shot anyways. I removed the master cylinder and rebuilt it and I have a new slave cylinder so all I need to do is get the old lines out then rebuild it.

Also installed B&M supercooler
