What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I've had this problem before with other vehicles. It's most likely a dirty MAF sensor.

I recently cleaned the MAF sensor, so I don't think it is that. It definitely could be a faulty sensor like [MENTION=116195]weekendclimber[/MENTION] mentioned, so I will have to hook the computer to it while it is happening to see how it reacts. If that's not the case, then I still have my money on the TPS. I never had this issue on my '99 since it did not have the DbW, but that might be unrelated.

my truck is starting to bog down at certain speeds and when passing. piss poor design to have drive by wire throttle body. those TPS aren't sold either. part of throttle body for 01-02.

within a couple of weeks, new tires, alignment. today, had rotors resurfaced. brakes a lot better now.

Picked up some '99 tall springs with shocks for $40 last week. Installed them Saturday night.

Sorry, only photo I have is when I finished installing at 9pm.

Gave me about 1" of lift all the way around

Got my 1998 4-cyl grille from eBay today and test fitted it before hacking it up for a satoshi mod.

The grille doesn't clip up. The clip bosses are too fat, I need to file them down to fit the narrower clip-slots on my 99. Also, the bottom center clip doesn't line up with the car at all. Got me some work to do, but its all good.

I'm also on the hunt for grille screen and an emblem.

I had all my parts for this and then the stupid radio installers...cracked my plastic on my gauge cluster in 2 spots...now I don't know what I'm going to do in regards if i change it or not...I wouldn't mind "brighter" non dull lights....Look good!

Not what I did, but what I WANT to do:

I have a 200 SR5 2WD with the 15 inch wheels. Thinking of putting 31X10.50R15 tires on it, specifically the Bridgestone - Dueler A/T REVO 2's here: http://www.bridgestonetire.com/tire/dueler-at-revo-2-eco

I know there will be slight decrease in MPG and speedometer, but other than that this should work perfectly with no other alterations, correct? Does anyone have any experience with this tire? I am tired of the puny looking 225's that sit on it now.

Then it's on to a stereo replacement (any suggestions?) and fixing that darn stuck antenna...

31x10.5 should be ok, 265/70R16 is the factory size on most of these and people have gone to 265/75R16 without lift (most lift though) so you should be good.

For the stereo, I swapped in a Kenwood pretty cheap from best buy, and replaced my factory (non retracting) antenna with a stubby antenna from Amazon for a few bucks.

how come you didn't put that seat bottom on the driver's side?
