Nice got any pictures? I'll be over in your neck of the woods early June. Doing a week in Alvord desert. I plan to spend more time over there here in the summer. They closed out all the trails over south and west of Tumalo Falls, do you know if they re-opened it yet?

My new to me 2002 SR5 with 178k failed inspection a few weeks back due to lower ball joints. Going to knock out the rear suspension this weekend too.
I'd planned on refreshing the front end but not this soon so many things got bumped up to ASAPJust knocked out OEM LBJs, Bilstein 5100s, Moog 81090 springs, tie rod ends, sway end links, and Energy bushings for the sway and sway links.
I ended up going with AC Delco Professional tie rod ends after reading reviews that they're Made in Japan and stamped 555. Sure enough they are and hopefully hold up.
Also the Moog springs aren't cut the same as OEM and I had a heck of a time getting the passenger spring clocked properly. How important is this? I could pull the strut and adjust everything if this is critical but if not will leave it as-is.
I would have spent a little more on Amayama.com and gotten Toyota tie rods instead of cheap $30 ones just for the peace of mind and not having to do it again.
Looking forward to the rear spring install to see the new stance.

Just got it from my local dealer. They had to order them. I threw the bags out. I Can get them from the trash and take pictures after work today.

Looks clean, although I'm not sure how much off roading I'd do with those rims. Oh and the 4Runner looks nice too. :wave:

Thanks. T4r Bilstein 5100s with Moog tall springs and 1.5" Daystar spacer in rear, front on second perch. Tires are 265/70r17 Cooper At3. I netted about 2.5"-3" lift all around compared to the worn out stock 167k mile springs.

Most of the roads up higher still have quite a bit of snow - great times for playing.
Couple pics. Wheels have 4.1" backspace so I rub the frame a little but I can stuff the 35s up in the back fender. Sorry for the blurry pic.

Replaced rack and pinion with OEM, replaced outer tie rods with OEM. Replaced LCA bushings with OEM. Replacing sway bar bushing with poly ones.
And ordered a 98 4runner factory service manual vol2 for $50.
I have a 97 but it's the same shit anyways. For $50. Are you kidding me ? Not worried about volume 1.

Awesome. Yeah my Dad's Girlfriend has friend who just got back from Steens Mountain area and said they still had a ton of snow. We are okay with the snow and we are going to attempt to get as far as we can up the roads over there. I cross the pass towards sister a few times and we did a run just a few weeks ago and ran into close to 3' of snow at just 3,000' of elevation was just insane how much we have gotten. Really looking forward to when school gets out so I can take my son out camping.
I will say I did route 3 last year and about 6500' in elevation (not in the shade or anything on the top of the mountain area), We ran into about 3 miles of snow 5-7' deep. It was 80F and was so much fun till it took 4 hours to go 1/4 mile. We eneded up camping and getting up at 4am. The snow got enough cold (got to 38F that night) so we actually crawled RIGHT up on top of the snow and drove out the last few miles.
To run your 35's you finished your body lift right?
PS - I'm so GLAD we got this snow to get past this lack of water for the last few years.
