Sucks you put the work into it but maybe you'll get a little more out of there insurance then it actually costs to do the repair. Hope it works out.

Phew, you license plate bezel survived!!! That impact looks about as perfect as you could get. If it hit your trailer hitch the frame would be screwed up. No damage to body, man that is just a swap of the hatch and yer good to go!!!

That's gonna total the truck, sadly. Definitely figure out a way to fix it though! First, make sure the body where the hatch attaches wasn't bent...

I'm getting a $749 check from insurance for my front bumper from a lady backing into me in a parking lot just a couple weeks ago... And that is just for the lower plastic and the main chrome section.

Sorry to hear about your crash.

So i had a very similar think happen a while back. My hatch and the middle part of my rear bumper were destroyed. Body shop charged their insurance about 7K. I just took my old OEM bumper off and realized that they only replaced the center piece. I am pretty sure they charged them what the whole bumper would list for. If I had to fix it again I would have just ordered a new aftermarket swing out and been way happier. Lol.

They are just Keystone brand steel wheels , they came with the tires and I was tired of my old factory split spoke alloys showing the last 17 winters of salt on them .
The dude sold his 2012 4Runner and had these wheels and tires left and I saw them online and drove 350 miles at 4am to grab em , they only had a couple hundred miles on them , 520 bucks for the entire package .

Yeah the running boards are coming off when my new springs and shocks go in ( 2.5" lift ) within the next couple weeks .

Also, if you don't need the running boards – it will look even better without them.

The truck currently has 215k (bought it at 180k), but the previous owner said they did the timing belt at about 170k but I am unsure if they did the wp with that... I would like to assume they did, but that means it only lasted 45k or so..

What did the old water pump look like? Like it had only 45k on it or was it original with 225k? Hard to fathom an OEM pump failing in 45k miles.

Hard to tell, it looked like crap, as everything in the bottom of my engine bay does, but it is very likely that it could have been only 45k old because the pump it self did not fail, just that gasket, other then that it worked... but just pumped coolant outside of my engine haha :llama:

sorry of course forgot to take pics of it in the middle of the process but whatever
