I've gotten a lot of ideas off this site so definitely got plans. Haha. First thing though is switch out the factory radio. Really, the only thing I've done so far is an oil change. Eventually plan to do a full maintenance on it though.

Same here. PO had an okay unit from the mid 90's, but I would like to swap that out eventually, at least it has an AUX cable. But like you, I wanna go through all the fluids, grease the driveline, etc. Congrats!

No idea what happened. Driving great, he stopped for gas, fired it up and misfiring like crazy.
I talked to him today, guess he replaced it with a JDM engine. Going to sell the new heads from the old one.

Manual Transmission Woes
This past week I replaced my master and slave cylinders on the clutch, but for the life of me I was failing at bleeding the damn thing. So I took it to a transmission shop that I trust and they bled it for free! It's much better now, though I think a clutch replacement will be on the horizon for next spring.

Today I took my 99 limited to a local Ziebart for rust treatment and undercoating. I did it all myself last year, grinding away old stuff (poorly) and applying Rust Bullet (poorly), and the results a year later are as you can expect. For $400 I think it is worth the labor alone. We'll see how it turns out when they're done with it

Post trail ride maintenance. I noticed a new metal rattle on the way home from work after this weekends trail ride. I took the passenger side tire off and played around with a mallet till I found the most likely culprit. Turns out my SPC LR UCAs must have gotten rattled a bit and needed to be re-torqued. I think that did it. I also had to come up with a temp fix for my drop down table that is clanging back and forth due to some latches getting damaged in shipping. They are allowing enough play back and forth with the heavy table to get pretty annoying. I jimmied something up so I don't have to listen to it on the commute. LOL.:lalala:
Oh, and snapped a wheel stud getting the UCAs re-torqued. yippie:frusty: fml.
