I have my Scangauge II - I'll get my odb2 programmed to read the temperature as it doesn't do it stock. I looked at the app, but I prefer the scangauge II. I wish I could split the signal but you can't according to what I've researched. Keep thinking of going to this app but need the ODB to USB connector. I also don't think this app is for me, I love the options but maybe i'll look at it again.

I run the Scangauge II currently, on my list to find the code for engine temp. Thank you.
I hope all is going in the right path. We just dealt with simliar(I know not even close to the degree you guys are going through) with our Eagle Creek Fire. No sun for days, so much smoke you can't breathe. Even when I headed toward Ouray 13th, the smoke was so bad in the Dalles you couldn't breathe/see. I was having trouble with the smoke all the way into Idaho. I was very grateful for the rain we've been continuing to get. I hope all you get all the rain and SNOW soon!!

The BAFX is bluetooth, no cable required, the bad think is bluetooth call quality when TorquePro is running sucks. Gotta use headset or quit the app.
I don't run the app full time anymore. Glad it only cost me $26 all in but it was a good investment overall and I do look at it from time to time.

Those are gonna look way better then the bullet hole Pro Comps. They'll be a lot lighter as well. The main reason I got my wheels was weight, well that and Ray10 was impossible to get. My wheels are lighter though. lol

Tired in vain to get the wooden version of a harmonic balancer holder to work, it broke both times as soon as I applied the "umph" to the torque wrench. I want to verify that the balancer is torqued correctly, I noticed that is has a distinct wobble to it. I DID get an exhaust leak fixed, the flange between the rear cat and the muffler. One less leak...

Hahaha... I think it depends on what you are looking for. The Ray 10s are super hot right now. So if that's what you are looking for, expect a bit of a knife fight trying to get what you want. They sell out minutes or less after they get resupplied. They seem to have a fair amount of the F5 in the gunmetal finish, so I lucked out. I was just about to get some Ray10 and gunmetal from Michael's Toyota here in Bellevue, as they carry them. I like both the F5 and the Ray10 but I had some time to think about it and I think I like the F5 just a little bit better. That and they are a little bit cheaper to order direct compared to going through a dealership where they tag on a little bit its extra cost to make it worth their while. So I suppose you're paying for the convenience and expectation that you were going to get what you're looking for if you go that route. I just ordered mine on the site last night.
I know the F5 are popular, as well as my current Pro Comp 7069, but unless you're making your own custom wheels you will quickly run out of unique options that no one else is running. But I don't really care about that much anyway. I like what I like. I'm excited to see what they will look like mounted up.

Those be gunmetal arrrrrgg. (pirate voice) And they look great! I think your Bronze look sharp too. I suspect you will see more of these on 3rd gens as time goes on. It is a cool modern tweaking of a classic bullet hole design.

Started with my rear cargo box drawings. Two drawers, approximately 34" in length, removable sleeping platform. Gathering supplies tomorrow and hoping to get the general framing done.

Replaced the POS “virtually dust free” EBC Greenstuff 7000 series front brake pads. The inner pads were almost down to metal; only the outer pads had the “squealer” tabs to warn you when they’re worn to replacement thickness, but they weren’t as worn as the inners so I didn’t get the audible warning...good thing I caught it on time otherwise I’d need new rotors too.

...measured my 3rd Gen oil dipstick. The 2001 truck is new to me.
How long is yours? Mine is 17-3/4 inches (45 cm) from tip to the "stop" that stops it going into the tube.
(I'm suspicious because this dipstick doesn't say Toyota or a part number)

Looking at tires today. I see a good deal for a set of 285/75-16 tires.
I have a 3" ome lift front and rear. Assembling my parts so that in the next two weekends I can swap my cv's (torn boots, replacing the new ones with high angle inner boots), replace my stock upper control arms with my spc racing adjustable uca's, and upgrade my brakes to the 231 tundra calipers and rotors.
I have a set of the tacoma 5 spoke snowflake rims which I bought because they should clear the new calipers.
Will I run into any serious issues going to a wider tire of this size? I do have a set of 1.5" hub centric spacers I can use, but then that may present outer fender rubbing issues.
Any advice?
Currently running 265/75-16 on the stock tri-y wheels.
I have a 3" ome lift front and rear.
