For the chrome parts and lower panels on doors I used Plasti dip.. for the flares and "plastic" parts I used Krylon dual super bond.
I retired from auto body years ago, but I did it for 20 years.. since I don't have access to the tools to spray it, I used the rattle cans.. I must say they have come a long way. Very happy with the results. I used 2 different paints because I felt the "plastic" parts needed different type of paint.. we would always add a flex additive to the paint back in the day.. but know they have it bond by some molecular action...WAY over my head..[emoji851]

A couple of those back bolts get really annoying with the tools I had. I didn't think it was the worst thing ever. Was nice to be able to leave it for a few days having an extra rig. Would be way worse going straight through, but now you are a pro.
Over the last few weekends my son and I blacked out the Gen 3. Very labor intensive but the cost was right around 100$. Before and after pics...

Looks good! What did you do for the wheels, plastidip?
I think the black trim looks really good with your truck color, the original silver (?) flares looked totally out of place with the blue. I'm still trying to decide what to do with mine, which is white. I think the silver flares don't look too bad with the white, and the black flares would give it a different kind of look, which I am not sure I want. So still pondering.

Yup, did plasti dip on the wheels. They make all different colors now, but I don't think you could go wrong with the black on the white.

That is the plan, sir. This is not my first rodeo, but brackets or zip ties?
Because if zip ties then I'm pulling my radiator and strapping it to the AC condenser core only.
EDIT: just answered my own question with a tape measure and a piece of wood

I adjusted the headlights last night. The light output still sucks, but at least it now sucks in the right direction
