Reinstalled the trim screws (using a latex glove-over-screwdriver technique to minimize scratching that worked really well; would recommend). It's surprisingly hard to get a relevant photo of them but here's my attempt. Overall they do look way better than before.

Washed 'er up finally, was getting pretty damn filthy! Installed a cheap media receiver to finally ditch the POs CD unit from 2002. Hoping to do the DRL and fog light mods tomorrow, hell, maybe even an oil change!!!

I dont think you're crazy, I replaced all of mine with Stainless Steel from the hardware store.

I did mine too when I bought the 4runner last year. Used spray bed liner on all mine.

Refreshed the old stock headlights. Besides the old, tired and oxidized lens, one of them had a 1” diameter hole in it. Was a little worried to venture from the stock lens replacement but I’m pretty happy with the finished product.

How does the light pattern look with those? When I bought my 4runner it had nice looking headlights on it but when I turned them on for the first time the light pattern was horrible, hot spots everywhere and impossible to correct with aiming. Looked at them and noticed they weren't OEM. Wondering if all the aftermarket housings are bad like that.

Installed my Total Chaos UCA's today. The hardest part by far was getting the ball joint press to fit in the wheel well. Ended up following Yosh2000 thread and cutting the stem off the old ball joint.

My tires finally showed up this week. 285/75/16 Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx Hopefully I can get them mounted tomorrow.

Nice are they significantly longer than the stock lines? My OEM lines are cracking and need replacement, but I don't have a crazy lift so I don' know if I want 'extended' lines if they're gonna flop all over the place and be more likely to catch on something.

even with my lift, looking at the front brake lines, I do not believe I need extended lines. at full droop there is still a slight bend in the lines.

if the fronts look too short when they get here, ill send em back. but the rear brake line does specifically say "...for stock height up to 3.5" lift (19")..."

Unfortunately I don’t have any pics of the the pattern but i would say I’m pretty happy with it. Took it out last night for a drive with the wife and she instantly noticed how much more area the pattern covered. To elaborate, the pattern def produced light at a higher level as well crisp lower line on the road. They are also much brighter, but that could also be due to new bulbs that were replaced. I’m probably goin to piss off a few people when behind them!

Looks nice! My PO actually stripped out a couple of these, so I need to get to the dealer and see if I can find the piece the screws actually screw into. May have to do this up while they're out though

So a nice even spread? Might have to give in and order a set. Mine are horrible, not sure of the brand

Got the rainy day blues....so after I installed some new bump stops I bought a smaller supercharger pulley!!!! URD 2.1 here we go. Figured I kinda had to do it since I need to change my drive belts...I mean...I should change my S/C pulley when I change the belts right?!? Reasonable logic...right???

Replaced some spark bolts w/ the proper ones, cleaned a TB and PVC valve, fixed a cracked vac line. All of this in the attempt to stave off the P0420 CEL again. although I think all I did was buy a bit of time. 201K on stock cats is probably beyond their designed life span.
