I didn't do any wrenching on my own rig today but I did get a little touchy-feely with other 3rd Gen at the salvage yard. Pulled a 4.10 elocker, Camburg upper control arms, Toytec 9602 coils and Toytec extended length bump stops. All items are for sale. Time to treat your rig this tax season!

Well, this weekend I replaced my radiator that was original, had around 300,000 miles on it, with a Champion all aluminum #CC1998.
Replaced the original clutch with Marlin Crawlers kit, along with a new rear main seal that was leaking, along with new master and slaves for the clutch.
Took out my LC coils and LC Tokico's and swapped to Toytec Superflex coils and Icon 2.0's for a 03-09 4runner.
It's like a new truck again, shifts smooth as hell, and the rear is so much better for me, much softer. I sit about level now with my Eibach's and Bilstiens up front.
Long Weekend!
Next Weekend is TBU, with the Callahan kit I got from Amazon.

Should I replace the main seal when I replace the clutch, just to be safe? 175k miles on the odo.

I just replaced my auto trans and I have 164k. My rear main seal was totally dry. If its not leaking dont mess with it.

I don't know what single clamp style things they have out there.. but I think I found these standard plastic mounts specifically for Maglites at a Harbor Freight or Ace Hardware type place.. mounted mine on the wall right above the drivers side wheel well in the back. Good luck on the hunt.
Thanks, those are places that I called and was told "no". I found a generic set of mounts on Pro Bass's website, they're the only ones so far. Weird that such an accessory would be so difficult to locate.

That's weird. Maybe they stopped carrying them recently.. I got these couple years ago so I guess it's possible they stopped. Bummer.

Ill get another for my 45 qt.
I really didn't need the 20 qt RTIC but they had them on sale over superbowl and my kids wanted a "girl colored" cooler for their juices and milk.
We lived out of the RTIC 45 last summer both at home and camping out of both our 4Runners. Holds ice for days at about 28deg. These coolers are amazing.

This weekend I cobbled together a fold down hitch mounted rear tire carrier out of a couple other cheap hitch mounts and replaced the front rotors and pads. We'll see how I like the fold down spare tire until I can afford a swing out, it's kind of a pain to lift up and down to access the tailgate but I don't want the spare up top. Oh, and I flipped the stock receiver hitch to gain a little ground clearance.
Also did a bunch of work to the Bimmer, but that's for another forum!

That's your call, mine was original and lasted close to 300k, if it's dry maybe don't mess with it, but it would really suck if you did all that work to replace your clutch, believe me it sucks, and then your rear main starts leaking shortly thereafter. Your call man!
