Aah, not that bad! Did you happen to look at intake side of filter, what condition?

Good for you! There's some great write-ups around, don't forget your torque specs and the blue loctite on the lower ball joint bolts and don't let that upper ball joint annoy you (or forget the snap-ring). Do have fun.

Thanks, was trying to remember red or blue loctite too. Think, I'll let the hubs do the uppers since I've read several complaints about them being a PITA. I'm gonna finish watching the Timmy toolman vid too.
Couple weeks ago he taught me how to change oil and tire. Love my Runner, it makes me want to know how to keep it going another 200k+!

Also, I don't think I needed to order the extra boots and rings for the uppers, oh well. Bolts for lbjs might be different for your year too fyi.

that's lucky. i called the dealership across the street from me. $800 in labor alone. so next month is about $300 in parts and about a day in my garage for upper and lower. maybe some tie rod action as well.

That's awesome, where did you get this and how much??
Replaced the torn seat bottoms with new leather and added heat while I had em off. Should have been a relatively fast and easy job but I initially put the bottom metal bracket back into the seat backwards on the passenger side and spent the following couple of hours trying to figure out why nothing lined up right - lol.

where did you get the seat bottoms? and the seat warmers? new? any write up by chance?

sighting in after not touching this rifle since before I lived in Dubai (16 months ago....) the dot is where I was aiming, the circles are the corresponding groups.
9x magnification at 100yds. # 8 was final sighting in, #9 was shooting off-hand
4x magnification at 100yds. pretty pleased with this.
just before I shot at 4x mag, I realized my cheapo Barska 4-16x50 IR scope had loose glass, every shot would shift the glass and I could push it back in place with my finger....so looks like i'm in the market for a new scope! i'm thinking of the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24mm optic. i'de like something in the lower range of magnification than what I have, that barska is heavy and too long/big.
dusted off the old pin striping gear and did a little custom touch to the Spikes Tactical lower, I kinda like it, and might just have to carry on painting things! (you can see the big Barska scope in the background...too much scope for this .223)

I just grabbed some 24" 100lb full extension slides from lowes. Heaviest ones they had in stock. I would prefer some longer/heavier ones.

I left Baltimore at 3pm to drive to Tire Racks' distribution center in New Castle, DE to pick up some new shoes.

I could of had them delivered for about what it cost me in fuel/tolls/time, but I want to jump on this first thing in the AM. I also had my friend Mr. P0420 show back up on the way there, same thing- low exhaust flow. I'll just order the new cats from RA tonight and be done with it, then cry the blues that my 19 year old truck is using up expensive parts, LOL :lmao:

New 5100 Billie's for the rear
and a good cleaning from the oil leaked by that bad switch.
Oh yeah and new stickers from Toytech for overnight shipping lol.
