Had alarm issues now I don't

Last week my key fob and actuator were acting up. I was really having a hard time programming a new key and didn't have the time to do it. So I ended up taking it to an alarm specialist. He quickly talked me into getting a Viper with remote start. Alarm and a actuator that I got from Amazon, and took care of two minor electrical gremlins while in there. All for 350, I'm a happy camper : )

We have these on my bike forums and didnt find one here with the search. So lets get this started. As the title states, what did you do to it today?

Crawled under and took a look see at her undercarriage. Greased her up real nice like. Cleaned out the Drain tubes in sun roof. Overhauled sunroof. Replaced sunroof motor. Ordered all parts for a Axel seal job. Then did a bit of a cut and buff. Just bought her a few days ago and decided to show some love.

Tomorrow is engine bay overhaul. Vacuum lines, oil, plugs, wires, headlights, fluids.

I got the new cats yesterday ( March 5th), now just waiting for the weather to break so I can lay on some cardboard and have a go at it. I was a bit surprised that no gaskets were included. You'd think that for $350 worth of parts, Rock Auto would throw a few gaskets in with the deal.

Anyways, i just ordered cs144 alternator form advanced auto parts, for $118 after coupon. Lifetime warranty.

Lol, that was on the old plastic screen and it was covering the OD light since I drive with it off fairly often in the city. No CEL since I got the new to me engine at 240k.

Hah, yeah. As soon as I saw them and the price I snatched them up. I've been looking for a set for the last 4 years, and I got lucky and saw that shortly after he posted them. I might have them refinished in a graphite or bronze color.

I stumbled on a Sequoia in the Denver U Pull and Pay a few weeks ago with one of these wheels still mounted. The guy before me couldn't figure out how to get it off. It took me all of 5 minutes to pop the valve stem and jack up the axle, so now I have a matching spare!

If you want a 5th wheel, the spare was still under the truck (I checked and it's the same). It's scratched, but you could get it for ~$40. It'll be difficult to get to with how the truck is sitting, but you could do it with the correct tools.

Installed some CoverKing Neosupreme (think Wet Okole but cheaper) on both rows. Went with black to offset some of my tan interior and match my black exterior.

Very happy for the cost (~$210). Fit is great and install was easy. Snug, custom fit and no more crappy ripped up cheap Toyota leather.

Nope, not the reflection from the sky.. it’s Glacier Metallic, I understand it’s a rarer color.

Finished my valve cover gasket replacements last night. Changed spark plugs and wires while doing so and it seems to have fixed the problem I was having with jolting/surging at while accelerating
