Funny, got the same things for my 2000 two days ago. What's interesting is I find that most of the write ups on here are actually more thorough and helpful (especially because it tells you ways around not requiring an SST), plus most everything has been documented nicely by now.

Like for replacing the CVs I believe they say to pop the LBJ off, however on DIYs they say to remove the 4 bolts which is so much easier!

That said, I do like that it contains Torque ratings which tend to be missing from many DIY.

Funny, I find simply removing the one castle nut that doesn't require threadlock to be quicker than taking the ball joint off from the kuckle. Everyone works different though

Started tearing her apart today at the dealer for the rear main seal job I'm doing. Also gonna be replacing the rear companion flange seal for the tcase while I'm in there.

It helps so much having a lift and good air supply.

Replaced both Cats today. One of the flange studs broke off, so my life got a bit harder for a few hours today. I have to admit, the truck seems to have a bit more power and runs smoother on the drive home tonight.

Gave the front valence a make over. Plastidipped the fatlip

Also replaced the bulbs in my fogs, however when i forgot to plug the right harness in when the lights were powered on, i made the mistake of plugging it in and blew the fuse! went to autozone and bought a replacement but still not functioning. Any thoughts?

Not today, but had a early day off and tried to go play out in the fresh snow we had gotten, unfortunately most trails were closed off. Only got to play in a empty parking spot. Still was the first time I've got to try out the rear locker, worked amazingly.

Not sure how far I'll get (damn cold weather), but my head unit stopped working after changing the battery last week. Hopefully it's a fuse in the under dash fusebox and not the one in the harness behind the radio

Did the rear shocks today. What a pain in the arse to get the top bolt off!! Drivers side was harder than passengers side but we prevailed..helps to have a 15 year old boy with long skinny arms.[emoji1360] Will tackle the fronts maybe tomorrow or next weekend.

Separated the tranny from the engine and pulled the old rear main out. Was super lucky to be able to remove the snapped bolt on the lower right corner for it as not much was sticking out from the block. Needle nose vice grips came to the rescue here for sure. Also retapped one of the oil pan bolts that go into the retainer plate as the threads were basically gone from it.

Looking at the retainer now, there appears to be some very minor burrs where the seal sits in it. Doesn't look to be a problem and really don't want to wait for a new part to show up so I'm going to either a) not worry about it and just install it or b) put a very thin layer of FIPG around the circumference of the bore then install the seal. Thoughts on this?

replaced all my black trim but ran out of daylight and blew the radio/clock fuse. Didn't realize my new truck takes the tiny fuses. All I have are the full size. I knew I did something when I saw a spark when I plugged the cigarette lighter back up. what a pain that is to remove by the way.

I had about a full inch of play in my accelerator pedal so I tightened my throttle cable - my god, what a difference, everybody should do this.

Seafoamed and cleaned injectors.

Attempted to clean the MAF, but ran into the "18 years of the elements have turned the MAF screws into mush so I stripped the crap out of them and can't get them off" problem that people seem to have...so once I can figure out how to get those suckers out of there, I'll tackle that.

Get a set of screw extractors and you'll be able to work them out. Then replace with new hardware. That's what I had to do with mine.
