Replaced my front springs today with toytec/eibach 112-620 springs on the bottom notch of my 5100 Tundra shocks.

new injector in cyl. 1. got the injector off ebay for $21, looks identical to the stock one but they are like $130 from the dealer? hopefully it holds up. cleaned throttle body while i was in there, it was black.

The pump doesn't really run that much once there's pressure in the line, so it shouldn't be to annoying under the seat.

Ordered a snorkel (two of them, actually). We've had some issues in the past when doing long dusty off-road trips in the 4Runners. The stock airbox picks up air from inside the right front fender, which, when you're going somewhat slowly on a *very* dusty road, is apparently pretty full of dust.

One year all the dust overwhelmed the oiled filter (I forget the brand, not K&N) and let some dust into the intake system. This directly lead to a CEL and reduced power when the MAF sensor got dirty.

We switched back to paper filters, because the worst they'll do is just clog, not let dust in. Adding the snorkel should reduce the amount of dust it's pulling in in the first place, clean(er) air up by the top of the windshield, not from inside the fender.

reinstalled my stock skids plates and took a look around for any leaks. Found my passenger side inner cv boot torn. :dammit:

One snorkel for the truck, one snorkel for the owner to hide in the lake. It makes perfect sense.

Finished the lift today!

Gained about 2.5” with the new suspension.
4Runner Bilstein 5100’s all around.
Fronts on 3rd perch from bottom with stock ‘99 tall springs
Rear OME 890’s to replace sagging (294k) ‘99 tall springs

Had the new Falken Wildpeak AT3/W 265/75/16’s mounted, balanced and aligned.

Ended up about 3” taller overall with the new tires and lift!
