That charger already does a battery disconnect as soon as the engine/Alternator supply is off.
In your case it should be good (truck will start even if you run your secondary battery flat).
We usually install either a chargeguard (does the same without the charging part) connected to an AC auto-eject plug/charger.
Or install what we call Triple-E. It basically starts the truck engine if the main battery drops below a certain voltage (I think 11.9v) or after a given time with equipment running regardless of battery voltage to charge it-up with the alternator (timer-start is switchable on/off).
I can't wait to start rigging toys into my runner...

I have lots of frame/suspension/body work still to be done.
At least the big 3 will be done in a few weeks.
