What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I changed out my starter in less than an hour, by far my fastest ever. Hopefully this heals my long start. I checked the contacts and they are quite worn, so I put my spare in and I'll get a rebuild kit for the old one.
 
Swapped wheels and went from 32s to 33s. KO2s in C load.

Well since the coveted Osram 64205 has been discontinued I opted for the elusive (not found in US markets) and highly praised (by Daniel Stern Lighting) GE Megalight Ultra +120. I am impressed with the output and low price but best of all they also don't use the lumen-wasting cheesy blue film on the high beams like many "high end" bulbs come with.

They are the base model ones. I got tired of looking for the discontinued SR5 guards so took the fender trim off and got these. Got some rears to match off craigslist for $20.

part nums: 76621-39395, 76622-39395

You need a rivet gun to do one of the fasteners.

I'm not a lighting expert but I do know that pictures can be taken with a grain of salt. There is a fellow on TacomaWorld that plans to thoroughly review them in a much more scientific method than I will ever be able to do. I will share the link when he completes it.
 
Bought an adjustable CF14/EP35 flasher relay in preparation for my 4xinnovations front bumper install over the winter. Next step, see if I can draw up a two-tone paint scheme for the thing!
 
Finished buttoning up the truck yesterday, head gasket is done and all seems well. Mosquito fogged the place out when I first started it. Ran it a couple of times then drove it. Finally cleared up by the 5th mile.

Drove it 111 miles today, so far so good, knock on wood.
