Installed new Mookee shocks front and rear
Just bought a set of Mookee shocks off Ebay. Installed all of them except one. Will hopefully finish it tomorrow. Will let you know how the ride is aftewards. We live on dirt roads, so we'll see how they hold up.

Got my Durobumps installed, 99 talls coils in the rear and airlift bags re-installed in one of our 3rd Gens and our FJ got it's Durobumps installed while I was at it too! Thanks @Plastics_guy again for the front diff support bushings and now the durobumps.

got it to my sons house
does not sound like much, but after 2 weeks in the shop with a blown out differential...and getting it back today....today was a good day
and what else I did today to it...…..drove it
How did you end up with a blown out differential?
My axle seals are leaking and ive been refilling it until i can get the work done
Took out the thermostat to check if it was opening properly because my 4Runner got too hot/almost overheated recently and keeps getting too hot. Not sure what the issue is. The upper radiator hose blew off when it got too hot and a this white fibrous material came out. The coolant also has a bunch of metal glitter in it which is strange. Anyone know what the issue may be?

That is the classic sign that aliens have nested in your engine. When they are ready to hatch they blow out the hoses to escape. They feed off your water pump so you may want to check that. Be thankful they didn't nest in your chest.

Replaced my starter contacts & plunger yesterday and replaced the alternator brushes this morning. The brushes were really worn. Much easier to do if you take the battery out, gives you more room to get to the alternator. I tried to upload a photo but it kept coming up as error, so no pic. This was all preventative maintenance as I was not experiencing any issues.

Removed the interior for a deep clean and install of replacement carpet. A few years ago I removed the stock carpet because the driver side liner was leaking water and overtime pretty much ruined the carpet.
I cleaned most of the hard plastics. Still have to cut the carpet to fit and I’ll be doing it mostly blind because I didn’t keep the old carpet as a template.

Are the pedals backward? I mean, isn't the tall one usually the gas pedal? Either way they look cool, would love to know where you got them.

The tall one in the picture is the dead pedal. You can’t see the gas pedal in the picture.
They are cheap knock offs from China. $18.
I got them from aliexpress. There used to be a bunch of them on eBay as well but I’ve notified on eBay and AliExpress that they seemed to have disappeared and are hard to find.
