Scored an OEM hitch for only a few bucks! Anyone have a writeup/knowledge on trailer wiring install?

Curt Manufacturing has great installation instructions. When I did rack/hitch installs we'd reference their instructions "all" the time.

This was for the 1997 SR5, so search accordingly, but I don't think there's much difference.

And I'm sure other's will tell you, if you have an automatic, consider a separate trans-cooler. I have manual so I'm not worried.

Just a update ...scored a 4xinnovation for a killer deal cough cough $400 cough it came with some led light changing light bar and cubes ... sold my brush guard , sold the lights and installed the bumper , just waiting on the frame plates to finish it up ,installed my old light bar and got new led cubes , and also got a new relay to get rid of the hyper flash at 333,850 miles

98Runner Fuel pump install

My wife and I started on getting my 98 bk on the road. I bought it from a guy who hit a deer and it sat for almost 2 yrs. Would not start, and didn't hear the fuel pump humming. So i dropped the tank and put the new fuel pump in. Fresh gas and cranked her up and no dice. Still wont start. I even put some gas in the throttle body. Any suggestions?

The headliner was wet and moldy. I am thinking the drain lines for the moon roof are clogged. So, today I had my wife remove all the grab handles and trim. She was able to pull back some of the headliner but we had to stop before we could completely take it all out.

Appreciate any comments or help with either of these problems.

Well I put her through the ringer...

Just got this pretty lady a couple days ago. Always wanted to get a 4runner in the worst way. Only got 114k on it, and has the rear e-locker... so you know I had to go test it out.

Whatayaknow, 4runners are all they are cracked out to be and more! This thing got me out of some of the most sketchy situations, albeit I put her in some tough spots (Novice off-roader). Got stuck in some skirt deep mud, put her in 4low with the rear locker, and boom!! She chugged right up the "Impassable" road with confidence. What a beautiful piece of machinery this truck is. Gonna enjoy the hopefully-many-more miles that i'll have with her.

Reinstalled the trim screws (using a latex glove-over-screwdriver technique to minimize scratching that worked really well; would recommend). It's surprisingly hard to get a relevant photo of them but here's my attempt. Overall they do look way better than before.

I replaced the plastic “glass” on my Speedo display and noticed how shitty and tarnished those trim screws were... I went to 2 auto parts stores, Lowe’s, and searched all over the web to find a set of these brown sill replacement screws, looks like I’ll be investing in some spray paint tomorrow. I like your style!

Installed 32x11.50r15 tires on 15x8 wheels, shrockworks radiator and engine skids, Baja Designs Squadron Pro lights (impressive the light output on those tiny lights), and bend the inner fender lip for clearance

Got it inspected. Yay. Only needed brake pads. 40k miles out of aftermarket
ones, not bad.

Hood struts! Hated the prop rod. 2 day delivery...

Prevent body damage: use a spacer:

New OEM floor mats. These aren't quite a plush as the originals. Also 2 day
delivery from my home boys McGeorge.

Installed the radio and started running the wires to the back for a back camera on my son's 2000 that he bought the other day. I do have a question, I removed the lower dash in order to run the video cable for the camera, on the left hand side there were 2 connectors just hanging. Are these suppose to be unplugged, I don't see anywhere they should be hooked up. It's a 2000 4WD, SR5. Here are a couple of pictures.
