Just finished repainting the 16" rims I copped at the boneyard...now the long wait for the clear coat to cure...

smelled antifreeze after going for groceries. leak at top of radiator at pinch points holding upper tank. Denso radiator replaced 8/17 , less than 50 k on it, and only run Toyota antifreeze, Toyota water pump and Toyota thermostats. but I do drive a lot of gravel roads....vibration ? And yes I live in Alaska, but my antifreeze mix is for minus 50 and it has only gotten to minus 38 lately and I use a bock heater as well as an oil pan and tranny heater....argg
maybe I will go with a Champion...or another Denso...argggggg

Decided to dye the rear bumper trim piece based on another post in this thread.

Looks pretty good. Only question is how will it last. This weekend I'll do the front bumper.

FYI: That whole rear piece snaps right out without any tools. I think you just have to move the weather strip up out of the way. Heck of a lot easier and faster than all that taping off.

FYI: That whole rear piece snaps right out without any tools. I think you just have to move the weather strip up out of the way. Heck of a lot easier and faster than all that taping off.

You can try clamping the pinch points down a little to stop the leak. I’ve had success doing that before.

Took my boy and a bunch of friends up rattlesnake canyon out by johnson valley. we had a crazy mix of cars from my old lifted turbo subaru to my friends fully built truck that started life as a 2wd single cab. overall a great trip, no one broke anything and the only vehicle that was temporarily immobilized was the full size dodge but we got him unstuck no problem.

That looks like a blast. Do you have a gps track file by chance?

Junkyard trip was a success!
Pulled a recently replaced O2 (Denso/Genuine Toy) off a 2002 Badlands.
Sucks that I never got the notification when it got put in, according to the pictures it still had the hood on...

No more CEL, now I have to find why the door open light is on all the time (I suspect hatch switch).
Also have to find a new hatch/tailgate. It's rusted good (enough that the window falls off the tracks when lowering it).

That 3" lift makes is so easy to work under, don't even need to jack it!

My bumper trim piece still looks awesome two years after applying the dye :thumb:

Replaced the rear 5th Gen springs with OME 906's, gaining the extra 1" I've been looking for to make it level. Now all four corners are at 22.5".

That looks like a blast. Do you have a gps track file by chance?

best I can do is the gps from my google maps timeline, but if you look up rattlesnake canyon rd on maps it'll show you the road I believe it was mile marker 37 on hwy 247 and from there you follow the road up until it drops you into the wash then you turn left and go up the wash.

you can always sell the supercharger separately and recoup your cost.
