Could've sworn I'd ordered the 13we stamped calipers for the 199mm TBU.
Today I received one of them in the mail and it's 13wl. Looks like I'm doing the 231mm TBU! Lol.

But it should be fine since I have a 2002 LTD with the 5-spokes. Apparently they just barely fit without spacers or grinding.

I'll just have to get longer brake pads. The ones I ordered are 4.7" for the 199mm.

But the rotors should be fine, right? They're for the 2001 Tundra, so will they work with the 2005 calipers/pads?

My engine bay was still covered in red dirt from Sedona so I gave it a good detailing this afternoon. Pretty sure there was some 20-year-old grime back in some spots.

Wow, that looks mint. What did you use to detail with?

Wish I had a Texas 4runner, vehicles down there stay fresh and clean of rust. I've just seen alot of paint fading which is a pain in the ass.

Holy smokes replace that radiator, it's a ticking time bomb! When they turn brown/greenish like that they are past due.

Good detailing though!

Edit to add: also went wheeling today, 2N49 surgarpine mountain (cleghorn mtn rd). Was overgrown, tons of new scratches/pin striping.

Thanks – yeah, there's a lot in there that needs replacing. The intake boots are both torn at the clamps and most of the vacuum tubing has dry rot at the ends. That stuff is all coming in the mail right now, but I've been holding out on the radiator until I have a free weekend to do the timing belt and water pump as well.

Jealous of your location. Pretty easy to avoid pin stripes when my nearest trails are about six hours away.

All in, it took about four hours – was really helpful to just pull the battery and intake. I got pretty lucky finding this truck that had lived its entire life in DFW but I'd for sure trade some rust for some mountains.

what...only 310k on the engine....being a jokester....got to love these engines..so many miles and just a blown headgasket....great engines
good luck with your repair
ill come help for airfaire and a place to crash
need to get back to the beach at kona,,,stayed cheap at uncle billies ? just across from the farmers market....that helped with expenses too.

Replaced a drivers side rack bellows. Alignment place tore it. Quick 20 min job.

Got my axle coated in POR15. Little before and after shots. Didn't do the drums because I plan on converting them to disc brakes in the future.

Fixed window switch

Replaced master power window switch. Not much but, every little bit helps.

Removed and inspected drive shaft and u joints and picked up an OEM 5 spoke for my spare...now I gotta decide on a rear bumper with swing out.

Took him out for a trial run. Up rattlesnake canyon and into big bear. Took a wrong turn and had to back track but man it was awesome! Saw a bunch of cattle, and there were some spots in rattlesnake canyon I though I would get stuck/scrape, but alas I didn't and only had to lock the diff once. So RC3331 to 2N02 to 2N01 to 38 and home. I accidently took 2N16Y (I think that is what it was) and it was a bit narley. It was a blast.
