Today I was driving up the road and had my upper and lower ball joint come out, had my wife and newborn baby in the car almost nailed a telephone pole.. barely missed it and thank god no one was coming the other way

it's probably a design issue by Toyota 4 not putting warnings on all normal ware parts not lasting forever and that they need to be inspected at normal intervals...

Painted the paranoidfabrication switch panel 4 times today. Can spray paint go bad? Had it wrinkle on me 3 times (hammered black color, love that color!)! Followed directions and all, so just stuck with boring semi gloss black blah.....

Colored my transfer shifter. I used a fine tip paint pen, put a fat drop inside each groove and used a straw to blow it around to all the corners, and blow off/wipe up any excess. Let dry for 15mins and repeat
Anybody else do this? I can't be the only one. LOVE how it looks, personally

Realized the 4Runner ECM's have different P/N's for 4x2 and 4x4. I failed to pull the 4x4 donor vehicle's ECM. My gear ratios are the same for both vehicles. What could be the difference in the ECM? Does it control the dash light or something? I'm a newbie here and tried the search in ALL Forums for "ECM" but got zero results.

Picked up a new to me sr5 after my limited got totaled out, dug through my maintenance parts bins and changed out the air filter, and replaced all the light bulbs that were out.

Wheel/tire upgrade

Put TRD wheels on today. Well, yesterday. I think it looks good. They got 265/70 17 tires on them. Stock suspension. They fit great. I do have a rubbing issue. So, bc I plan on being able to go wheeling I need to fix that. I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.
I believe I'm rubbing the UCA. I don't want a lot of lift. I don't care for how it looks. But I need to get that wheel away from the suspension. Spacers? Coilovers? Longer shock? Idk know what can help. I'm not trying to spend a fortune. But...I will if I have to.
