On my 2005 Sequoia the sunroof is completely and absolutely weird. Some PO must have done something.

Anyways when I thought it was stuck open I was able to remove the controls, disconnect the motor, move the sunroof back by hand, then reconnect everything (except the controls). Not impossible, but more effort than I think a sunroof is worth. To reach their own.

Tire Rotation, including spare, and four new wheel caps. (Wheel Cap Part # is: 42603-35760 Type C). Will post the old (original) wheel caps in the For Sale section, along with pics. I'm sure they could be refinished nicely by someone who has the tools and the time.

Had the #2 transfer case solenoid go bad on me. Decided to replace all four. Along with some new Mobil Delvac 75w90, it has never shifted quicker into 4wd in sixteen years.

Both Revolution and Nitro gears are made in South Korea, they are considered to be good gears.

Yukon is based in Everett, WA and both manufacturers and sources products sold as Yukon family brand names.

The smoke was caused by the engine ground wire melting. Had to get a replacement from Toyota, but it was my own fault. I was getting a flashing batter charge light on my console. I checked the battery terminal connections and they looked suspicious. So I unhooked the terminals, dismantled them, cleaned the wires and reconnected with new connectors. However, the reconnecting part is where I screwed up. There is a black wire that connects from the harness to the negative ground. I instead connected the wire to the positive ground. Big mistake. I should have taken a picture before dismantling. But it is all fixed now. Whew!

We’ll had to change the moog out and replaced it with oem at 362,589….didn’t even last 14,000 miles

Is Yukon seriously based in Everett? I work in Everett, probably could've saved myself some money with my air locker :doh::doh:
Everett and the surrounding area is very heavily Toyota oriented. Forgot the name but there's an awesome Land Cruiser shop up there with 5-10 FJ40, 60, 80 and 100 series each in their yard. Sometimes a SAS Tacoma or 4Runner too

HAHA we have all been there. Ive screwed up jumper cables before and mismatched them but was able to quickly get them apart before they got too hot. Ive seen peoples cables that melted all the plastic away and it was just metal from the heat haha.

I finally got gas in her after sitting with the gas light on for a few weeks( Got back from a trip and forgot to fill it). The local gas station is still over $7 a gallon so I had to bring back some gas cans from town.

Prob take her out fishing just to get things moving again after the few weeks sitting.
