Cargo pocket mod. Took maybe 4 hours including the two trips to Lowe's. I was gonna use a small roll of carpet but found this giant 12ft x 8ft outdoor rug for $25 that worked awesome
The amount of space compared to before is totally wild

I'll update my build thread but all I did was finish and install my front center caps after washing it (after running Lytle Creek)

I replaced the locking cap bolts with some black oxide hex flange M6-1.25 x 16 bolts that I finish cured to keep them from rusting

Helped a good friend get his 3rd gen suited up for a cross country trip. Lots of projects on an accelerated schedule. I realized that being a 3RZ manual guy I have very little experience with the 5VZ or the auto trans. Thankfully I had Timmy's videos to guide me!

- "timing belt" job (actually just replaced the water pump since the gasket was leaking)
- Valve cover gaskets
- Replace ignition coils, wires, spark plugs
- Change a bunch of cracked vacuum hoses
- Radiator swap
- Driveline fluids, tune up brakes
- Auto shifter bushings
- And build a dang camping platform! No pics of the finished product yet

Also had to make my own crank holder tool since my 3RZ one don't work

*Phew*! That was a shitload of work to cram into one work/school week!

Nah, gonna keep it covered for a cleaner look. My door not only still fits without the black insert but somehow now works better without it... It went from slightly rattling to no wiggle at all :noidea:

Just carpet, no backing or anything. If using it for storage I'd recommend adding some sound deadening material behind it, but since it's for my air compressor I figured the less insulating material the better

Filled it up with 90 octane non ethanol goodness. Paid $4.76/gal and not regretting a single cent

I went over the black plastic trim with some Cerakote ceramic trim coat. I saw it on "Project farm" on youtube. It did a great job especially on the cowl cover and bumper step pad.

One of the few guys I watch everything he posts up. How’d you like the cerakote? Been wanting to try it on some faded pieces of my Tundra.

As for what I did today, pulled the running boards off lol. Will be picking up some 5th Gen 4R wheels in KO2s to put on this weekend.

In the same boat with my own 01, but when I clear mine it doesn't come back for weeks. I am grateful to not see the light all the time, but it makes diagnosis hard!

Suspect no 1 for me is the fuel filler neck as it is very rusty and I suspect that there is the slightest pinhole somewhere.
