ARK Splash Guards sells splash guards that are designed around body lifts.
I ordered a pair something like a year+ ago, but haven't gotten around to installing them yet. (life, right?) At the time, they only offered 1" and 2", but after a couple emails back and forth with them, and they added 1.5" to their lineup. Pretty cool!
They feel pretty durable, and I like that it's 1 full piece, instead of 2 like the oem setup. And they do come with fasteners as well.

Grabbed a set of these since they were in stock, thanks for the head's up!
I don't think the ones linked are 555 brand, as they have no casting
info, like the other T4R/Prado OTREs (non-greaseable) they offer.
They do show Japanese origin at least, so I am quite confident they will be fine.
They will go nicely with my new OEM steering rack that just arrived!

We would encourage you to do all the updates and maintenance yourself vs the dealer, that will get $$$ quickly on a 22 year old vehicle.

Replaced a cracked vacuum hose, to see if that corrects my 14.5 mpg that I've been dealing with.
Not sure if this alone will do it, but it was a super satisfying 2 minute job:
I'm planning on replacing the rest of the vacuum and evap hoses soon (many are cracked and super brittle, not to mention that many are going out of production).

got off work early today so thought i'd knock out a few maintenance pieces. Swapped out the old O2 Sensors and the Fuel Filter. Such easy stuff when you're rig is already lifted....no jacks needed 
Took maybe an hour, could've been done faster but of course 1 connector just refused to let me disconnect it. Should've cleaned the MAF Sensor but I'll knock that out tomorrow:reddance:

What made you pick this rad over the Koyo rad? I'm getting close to my 3rd timing belt service and going to swap out my rad for either a Champion or Koyo.

Changed out the lower rad hose since it was seeping coolant near at the t-stat outlet and installed my rebuilt orginal alternator back in.

Mostly cost and availability - I wanted the smaller core size (20.5" would have been fine) and champion comes from free shipping.
I may use the trans cooler for power steering fluid as suggested by [MENTION=139000]phattyduck[/MENTION] since my 5-speed doesn't need it.

Just saw a video review from Timmy the Toolman on the Champion rad review- I believe it was a year ago when it was reviewed but they had some fitment issues with the fan shroud and side tabs of the Champion rad. Hopefully Champion has addressed these fitment issues.

I had no fitment issues, but I also cut off the M8 nutserts and mounted the rad with bushings that would allow the aluminum to expand and contract in an attempt to prevent cracking

Changed the thermostat and oil cooler hoses at 365,562 and then at 365,602 changed my power steering pump

Holy that was a long repair..
Oil pan gasket redone.
Dropped front differential.. think I Need to go to a confession booth the amount I sweared getting that thing off..
Right lbj.
Valve cover gaskets, timing belt and water pump..
All because of a dumba$$ oil catch can that flooded and backed up the pcv... for those that have them .. just don't let them full up .. I learned the hard way... oh well.. truck is good for another 100... and I can stop looking at those over priced used tacomas idiots keep advertising with 100k and $10k above a new one..
