I know I'm not the guy you asked but I had to replace mine not too long ago and couldn't get ahold of an OEM so I ended up getting ahold of a Specter and didn't have any complaints about it. Seemed solid enough.

Thanks for the reply.
They don't seem to make the OEM tank anymore so my options I'm looking at are Dorman and Spectra.

Been working on this for over a month while getting all the parts together but I finally have this little red light turning on!
Only problem now is I have fuel tank skid to driveshaft weight love making going on when turning right with the diff locked lol. That and apparently there are two different sway bars despite all the confusion on the topic on here. Mine DEFINITELY does not fit anymore ><

Funny, I've been trying to do something similar and figure out how to get my dash light to come on with my air locker, and just found a solution like 5 minutes before reading this. Must be something in the water
That's what some of those relay's to showed in my last pic, OEM switch turns on the ARB and lights up my dash light to let, air compressor has a dash light, the Atlas has been wired into the dash lights, the trans TC lock up now has a dash light, and a few other things also... designed a system for my dual tanks for on the fly switching and the fuel gauge changes. Running larger fuel lines and there's no system u can buy for a reasonable price that using large enough fuel ports for increased flow volume.

I always joke there's enough parts in the basement to make a whole 'nother 4Runner and here you are, working on just that thing.
I wish for you the circumstances didn't make it necessary, and I'm more than a little jealous of all that lack of rust!

Its ok. Just try to think of the rust belt users down the road. We can use a pile of those brackets etc to rebuild the frames here.

I can attest to how amazing that glass polish is, it made quick work of removing the calcium deposits I had on all my windows, before:

Haven't tried the Glass sealant, but just ordered it thanks to this post.

Ordered one of those East Detailing steering wheel cover kits. Really pleasantly surprised. Once you get everything lined up it’s not too difficult. Fingers are definitely sore from manipulating the seams together. Not perfect but a massive improvement over the worn out wheel. Wish I would’ve done it sooner, had been waiting to pull the trigger for over a year. Very happy with the result

Did you do this by hand or with a polisher/buffer? I hate all my window water spots but haven't gotten around to trying to remove them yet.

I did most of it with a buffer, but had to do it by hand in some of the corners. The buffer definitely makes the process easier.
Good to know! Do you remember what kind of buffing pad/head you were using? I have some normal pads, but I'm wondering if a microfiber one would be a better choice.
