What did you do with your 4runner today?

I really don't want to upgrade the size at all but with the recent lift it makes the tires look small since there's more space in the wheel well now. I'm looking to go just slightly bigger so that it looks better without sacrificing my gas mileage. That's why I was looking at 265/70/17.

Swapped rear swaybar bolts for non-rusted ones.
Reset ECUs
Topped off my gas
We'll see when I fill again, but computer now reports ~350 miles instead of 260 on a full tank. Hand calculated MPG before seafoam/ECU reset was ~13.6
Next Week:
Swap front swaybar bolts
Install extended rear links
Swapped rear swaybar bolts for non-rusted ones.

I rotated the tires and inspected everything. 3 of the 4 tires came off without a hitch, the 4th needed some persuasion with a rubber mallet. The X-Reas still looks good - no leaks. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I also topped off the air in the spare, so the TPMS light will go out.
The driver's front pads are almost done - but the extra wear is due to the seized caliper I had a couple of years ago. I'll probably replace them the next time I rotate the tires.
My grease gun was being a PITA. The grease that was in there was a few years old and got a little hard. After replacing the cannister, I had issues with the U-Joint and slip yoke zerks. When I have it in for the fluids change next week I figure I'll just have them double-check my handiwork.
Also, I did some work on my X5. I thought the 88 ft-lbs on the lug nuts on the 4Runner seemed a bit weak compared to the 104 on my X5. But the X5 only has 5 lugs, where the 4Runner has 6. Not sure if that makes a difference .. .
Edit: next week I'll do my annual oil change. Mobil 1 filter and oil. Since my last Blackstone eval was so good, I think I'll save myself the $35 this year.

hub centric wheels on the x5? Also, owns manual recommends ~83 ft/lbs torque. Doubt the extra 5 lbs would make a diff, but... idk

I finally got some snow on my tires and it was so fun. It was at night so a video outside the truck wouldn't turn out but my light bar made my visibility a lot better. I was kind of surprised that in the snow the ATRAC wasn't kicking in like normal and it was letting me spin the tires, which I loved. Attached are two short videos, sorry for the bad quality.

Check the ball joints on the upper control arms. I recently developed an annoying squeak. Popped the tires off and driver's side was shot and pass side was on it's way out. I replaced the UCAs with the ebay uniball control arms.
Mine also squeaked something terrible when my balljoints went bad. I found a kit on eBay that replaced lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods and sway bar links for $220. Worth it, trying to replace those balljoints and bushings sucks! Buy new cam bolts while your at it as you'll likely need to cut the old ones out if you go that route.

Busy Weekend, Time to sleep
What did I do today? I needed to give the rig some love and update some aging parts. For the sake of not posting twice in one weekend I will consolidate my work.
Day 1: Replaced the front and rear brakes pads, drilled/slotted drums and rotors. Also, i replaced and painted new front and rear calipers (blue). Installed interior LED lights throughout using Vled's brand 6K lighting. The change is spectacular!
Day 2: Updated my aging front end, I installed 2 CV boots and [MENTION=100129]nj636[/MENTION] wheel hub assembly's (it rides so smooth!). I installed my Satoshi "4Runner" grill and finally just for fun i decided to remove the carbon filter.
The following are poor photos from tonight but I will be updating my build with better photos.

Looks great! Busy weekend for both of us
Timing belt/water pump.
Was a one owner when I got it. Most if not all services done at the dealership. Last record of the timing belt was 140k ago. The lower alternator bolt was tight and sticking out a 1/2".
Previous tech had a/c bolt in alternator and alternator bolt in the a/c compressor. Easy fix once I did some fit checks.

Took XREAS out, put in Moog FJ coils and 5100s all around, and new sway bar bushings too.
