I highly recommend Cee Bailey's Custom Sunshades if you live in a hot climate and regularly park outside. Pic is from their site:
I had the Standard set (custom fit windshield + custom fit front windows) for my Xterra and they were very effective, which I judged by whether the temp diff in the vehicle was worth the cost diff between these at $65 and standard shades. I felt it was, hands down.
It takes a minute to place them since you have 2 pieces for the windshield and one in each front window (or in all the windows if you get the Full set) but it's worth it when you get back in the truck.
Only reason I didn't buy a set the day I got my 4Runner is because I work at home now and it makes more sense to just use a standard shade for the infrequent times I need one.

yea i was looking at that too, i think it would be better if there was no led at all. but once you plug in the USBs, the light doesnt bother you anymore.

Changed the oil, plugs, and serpentine belt on it last night. I hate that plug closest to the drivers seat. Next weekend diff fluid change time.

Found an empty new up and coming housing development still in dirt but with the basic road configuration with graded up dirt. I pre ran several different routes in order to make me a bad ass rally track to play on for an hour or so. Kept my temp gun handy to keep an eye on brake temps. Aired down my tires to my off road high speed setting and let her rip. man oh man was that a blast. Brake temps got as high as 350 degrees with absolutely no fade at all! I can attribute the awesome braking to my current system which Ive been running for nearly 20 years on many types of vehicles including my hot rod, a 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8. I drive hard on and off road, as Ive been a professional driver coach for well over twenty years, I have alot of seat time. Aside from my current shock package not properly tuned to my liking, my T4 hauled the mail with no fail...Loved it loved it loved it. Yes of course, I did blow a corner here and there, but without crashing. Never went all the way around after missing a corner, just had to work harder to keep her under me. A couple of pucker moments for sure...

USB dust plugs block most of the light and keep assorted gunk from getting into the ports when they're not in use.

Is that SolidWorks? If so, I'd recommend looking into using the sheet metal tools. They're amazing for that sort of work.
The same thing happened to my dad's 200-series LC the other day.

Was replacing hub.
Started raining.
Got soaked while running back and forth trying to get all my tools inside.
Waited for rain to die down to a drizzle, couldn't wait more, continued putting it back together. When finished drove around the block, was happy, loaded all my stuff in the trunk and left.
Thought I did everything by the book but I'm paranoid so my mind is rewinding everything on the background, then a few miles later OMG OMG OMG FORGOT TO TORQUE DOWN THE CALIPER BOLTS, THEY ARE JUST FINGER TIGHT OMG YOU'RE GOING TO DIE ANY SECOND NOW
OK now calm down, rest area is right there, pull over, pull out torque wrench and your magnetic lights, get under truck, enjoy water trickling all over your face (cold water from rain, warm water from A/C), torque down the bolts (they hadn't fallen off but were indeed just finger tight), that's all, now you can drive home.
Funny thing is right before I left there was one guy who stays really late, he went "maybe you have some bolts left over" and I go "nah I'm a pro, everything is perfect".
Then as I got home I wanted to go get some food but of course my wallet is on my desk in my office, so all I got for dinner is some leftovers.
So much fun tonight.

As fun as the high speed rally stuff is, it really eats up my tires. So, i try not to rally around too much.
By the way. To help with handling and tire wear, i ran in 4hi with the center diff locked. Its much different than 2wd. Your corner entry, middle and exit speed are much quicker than 2wd. I practiced both ways to keep up on my skills. They both are fun and both take different techniques.
Tooltime was a nick name given to me by my crew back in the day when i was their parts manager and would check out specialty tools to my techs. That and my first name is Tim. Lol

Today I admired them. I also decided that toyota should have never discontinued the V8 t4rs, and it got the wheels in my head turning. I still stand by my previous thoughts. The 5th gen limited is nicer than my SR5 4th (obviously). Here's the thing guys (and gal, TeamLord), when I think "TOYOTA", I think "ultra practical minitruck". There is a certain part of me that loves that aspect MOST about toyota trucks, and SUVs. Yes they are reliable, and have offroad goodies, but getting so much out of a small truck that you don't have to worry about sctatching just makes me.... giggly..
Here's the think. Someone asked me review the 2 immediately after I bought the 5th gen. I voted 5th gen at the time. Well I've had both for a few weeks now, and can now give a bit better review. @%1;
