Finally got around to installing my backup camera and display mirror

While I was in there, I took the opportunity to wire brush and paint The rusted metal hardware that holds the license plate light assembly to the truck. Every time it would rain, the rust from the fasteners would run down the tailgate and look like shit. All fixed now...

4). Airbag Recall / Smart Stop Recall

5). Replaced Cabin Air Filter

The router, a $18 HooToo TM-02, is not a mobile data hotspot. Its purpose is to provide streaming media and other content such as maps and travel guides (on the attached USB flash drive) when no mobile data network is available, as well as an SMB network share for backing up photos and videos. This frees up storage on devices that don't have a memory card slot, such as my OnePlus One and Nexus 7.

We'll see how well the hammer stays in place on bumpy backroads.

Woah, I have so many questions haha. First off, what mount is that for the ham radio? I have that same radio and I am trying to figure out a convenient place to put it haha.

And that little router thingy? Are you saying that when you are out of cell/wifi/data range, you can create a small wireless network for sharing files between devices?

If I read correctly, it appears he downloaded maps onto a thumb drive, and then accesses them when he no longer has cell service on his tablet or phone. Also he can dump phots and vidoes wirelessly to free up space on the 2 mobile devices as well.

Driving cross country to California pulling my Subaru on a trailer. The V6 is a capable hauler but the bags, trans cooler, and aluminum trailer all made it easier. I left last night from Southern Maryland and stopped once for sleep. Currently in Tennessee.

i did a similar drive a couple of weeks from NYC to Denver in my cousins 4th gen (07 v6). have a safe trip!

I've got ProClip's hard-wired mount for my phone where you've got the ham. Love it. Wired it to the lines under the shifter in the 12v/cig block and did the constant 12v power mod is so it works even with the engine off. Those clips are worth the money.

What is that red/orange thing under it? Seatbelt cutter and window smasher?

my buddie told me to not drill holes for the light bar mounts and said he will customize me a bracket. Got two thule mounts and the rest was his built. not a bad rig at all. will eventually paint the aluminum bar black.

Ran into some hiccups with the HID kits, but I did manage to complete the 06+ headlight mod. Can't wait to test them tonight. Put in silverstar ultras high/low
