I need to do this on my '03, along with the emblems/badges. Should give it some nice contrast with the silver paint and grey cladding.

whatever you do, do not pull the badges off to plasti-dip them. that defeats the purpose of plasti-dip all together. just tape a rectangle around the emblem spray 4-5 coats on then peel off the over spray, carefully peeling around the letters.

search youtube if you arent sure how to apply plasti-dip

I'm trying to find a way to wire it up and mount it lower, possibly between the two silver bars. I'll see if that will work. I think they are just a tad too wide.

My CB antenna is the same length as my light bar.

And I usually wash my truck by hand anyway

no the manager's think I do it deliberately, trolling by seeing how dirty i can get it then make them wash it. as if i get some kind of fun out of watching my truck go through their wash lol.

I've told them I bring it to them to save on my water bill as it takes quite a few hours running the pressure washer to get all the mud off... I assume they appreciate the quick turn around customers that don't require multiple trips through the wash cycle to become clean again lol. I cost them to much in labor i suppose.

I usually wash it by hand unless it's as dirty as it is now thats when I'll run it to auto bell to let them get a good start before I detail it lol. unfortunately the last time I went the manager refused service by saying " your tires are to wide for our tracks unfortunately we can't wash your truck" He walked away as I tried to plead that these same size tires have been through his machine. He mainly just didnt want me to bring my muddy ass truck around anymore.

I drove down to the next closest location, they're manager informed me that the other location's manager had called ahead letting him know I was probably headed that way. they gave me the same run around BS so I figured if they don't want my money I'll keep it for more mods

Scrub a Dub is my place of choice when my truck is covered in mud. Usually there aren't attendants there but last time I went there was one. He didn't kick me out but he told me to go to the super bay because "that's the one we like to shit up". I told him I was just doing my engine and undercarriage and he let me stay. When the engine and undercarriage were clean, I passed over the body quickly and hauled ass out of there lol

.... so they can't handle a vehicle with 12.5" tires? Does that mean they won't wash any lifted vehicles? ...since most lifted trucks run 33 or 35x12.5s...
