running lights for SW

Decided I needed to fill in the small light hole on the bumper. Went and got this setup. $20. 4 bulb led's

These are flush mounted to the bumper, water proof, cheap and easy to replace.

Waited for night to get some pictures, w/out the flash there too bright for the image for small lights.

Put the flash on to give a actual image of what you see. They light up my garage when parked outside. Wonder if I put the 9 bulb in, might be able to use them for mild driving/fog lights.

Spark plugs

Since I have only owned the rig for 4 months, I am catching up on what it may or may not need. I pulled a plug to find it sporting a gap that was about twice what it should be, so they all got yanked. It ran well before, now it runs phenominaly well. What a difference small things can make.

I love it to death! Just got kinda bored and wanna try it. That's why I'm only plasti dipping it. Not painting it

You have my vote I want to see how it looks. I am a huge fan of orange and want to see how it would look.

I have an 03 with the silver and gray clading and think Orange and Black clading would be Awesome.

Come down to MA and give me a hand lol. This is gonna be a bunch of work

And plus, it'll protect your paint too. Looking forward to seeing it when it's all done!

I'm doing black wheels with orange hub caps. Black Toyota emblems on the hubs

Black lettering if I can figure out how to do that.

Black center section of the roof.

Debating doing the raised part of the hood black too

If you're using plastic dip just mask off the area and spray everything. Then remove the tap and the areas around the letters you can peel off with a tooth pick. I did this on my A4 and my 4Runner, granted both are black so mistakes aren't really visible. Either way it's easy and lots of YouTube tutorials.

Well I want to have black plastidip for my emblems like I have now. I'll get liquid dip or paint to put on top of the orange that'll go on

Drove wife and MIL from...

Inglewood (Los Angeles) up to the Griffith Observatory. It's located about one mile to the right of the famous "Hollywood" sign up on the side of a mountain, and on the same level. I was duly impressed by the building and the exhibits but disappointed to learn that I couldn't actually look through a telescope until 10 PM.

The site and grounds are amazing, however. I took my camera, but the smog over Los Angeles was so bad that I didn't bother to take a single pic. And there was a good breeze blowing, too. How come the breeze didn't blow the smog away? When newscasters talk about the "Los Angeles Basin," they speak the truth, and you can actually see the basin's dimensions when up high on that mountain. Maybe that's why the winds can't disperse the smog. I don't know. But it's a grim situation, that much I could plainly see.

Custom led markers/emblem

The pic makes the marker LED lights and emblem look slightly different but in person they look like an exact match :naughty:

Thanks! I bought 2 sets of the $15.99 Harbor Freight lights I read about on here, lots of good reviews online and here...for rock lighting you can't beat the price. I also, as recommended, siliconed the crap out of them for waterproofing or at least water-limiting haha, I think I sealed them up pretty good really. I am hoping to find an LED replacement bulb for them though...get rid of the halogens :gun4: :thumb3: Anyone know if that's possible with these lights?
