Picked up my 285 duratracs. After some haggling got them out the door for $850 (after rebate of course). Just waiting for my wheels now!

Got my $60 rebate from Goodyear, $50 from America's Tire. The Duratracs are paying off already! Gotta love quick online rebate submissions. Took only 3 weeks.

How's that for turning a piece of sheet metal into a finished bumper in one day? Beats a 3+ month wait time for sure!

Wtf, how did you manage that deal? or are duratracs significantly cheaper down there?

I just priced out a set of 285/70R17 Duratracs up here and it came out to just shy of $1500 with a $60 rebate

Did a lot of shopping around for the last month or so and with some good price matching from my local Goodyear store...I truly lucked out. They really must have some huge margins on these tires so get pushy. Worst they can say is no!

That being said, Duratracs def must be more up north. List was around $300 a piece to start.

My post-cat o2 sensor is bad. In the process of ordering that and some MAF sensor cleaner. Maybe my mileage will increase a bit?

They are listed at about $340/tire here.

Hell of a deal though, wish I could find them for that cheap. Maybe I'll see if I can haggle them down but I don't think tire shops budge much up here.

If you don't mind me asking how much did that set ya back. Mine is coming up soon, but thinking about doing my own belt work and plugs and maybe some fluids, and let them do the rest of the inspection?

about $1200 I did the air filters and cabin air myself so that probably saved a tiny bit.

Keep in mind I live in Canada and we pay more for everything up here.....except healthcare

This is after a discount I get for being a member of a local Toyota club, I think.
if the price changes after I pick it up I'll let you know.
