What did you do with your 4runner today?

Drove to the Stealership and got some looks from my new bumper installed. Purchased some crush washer for hopefully a soon fluid flush. Also went and got an estimate on tire mounting on my new wheels.
???Newb question??
The guy asked if I wanted the sensors or just use valve stems? I told him I bypassed the tmps sensors so I don't need them? Does any of this make sense? I just want to put my current tires on my new wheels and could care less about sensors and such??

If you've already bypassed the TPMS then there's no reason, he asked you that because they charge way more per tire to mount if they have to move the sensors.

Drove it up to the highest point of the Capitan mountain range. Trail was a little difficult but nothing the runner couldn't handle.

mounted my lightbar temporarily, trying to figure out if the roof is gonna cust too much of the lightbeam before i wire it up..i got the flood/spot combo and i have about 1/4" space between lightbar and roof. if it would cut too much of the beam, how much space would i need to get all the beam over the roof(or at least most of it)

It seems a little low. you could put it above the crossbars or maybe just get a rola or yakima rack. or go big and get a bajarack.

im trying to keep costs to a minimum so an after market rack is out of the question. i already have 2 custom cars that take llots of money, so its hard enough convincing the wife that these upgrades are "needed". this is supposed to be my daily.

i understand. Just mount it above the crossbar and you should most of the light

Your install is very clean! I find that the higher the light the better. If your bar is mounted too low, you won't be able to aim it down, and what's the point of the bar if you can't see directly in front of you and out far as well

Thanks! Only problem is those tires keep getting smaller and smaller everytime I lift it higher. They will need to go SOON!

Yes it's farther forward

I reused the mounting brackets from my brush guard I put bolts through those little loops in front of the adjustment knobs on the cross bars

i also mounted it like this, but wasn't sure how i felt about the look

Thanks guys. I'll probably ask the painter how much he would want for the cladding since he only charged me $50 for the bumper!
