I wheeled yesterday with a F250 6" lift on 37s, and my 4Runner did way better. The 4th gens traction control makes wheeling so smooth. He thought I had lockers front and rear lol

Just popped in to say hello. I've been extremely busy lately, and I haven't been on here much, but I did pick up my Prodigy P3 brake controller yesterday, along with its associated parts. I was absolutely determined NOT to mount it on the lower dash like so many controllers are often mounted. I have several reasons for that, and I wish there was a convenient space IN the dash, like so many have done with the newest Tundras, but since there isn't one in the 4th gen, I took a different route:
I had to engineer a solution after finding nothing available on the market to mount a brake controller on the glass. There are lots of solutions available for GPS, cell phones, and radar detectors. I had already tried mocking up a solution using specialized mounting equipment intended for emergency strobes and other equipment used in law enforcement/public safety. Then I found the perfect solution, and it only required drilling a single hole in the mount and adding a few spacer washers.
If anyone is interested in duplicating this, I will post a more detailed explanation sometime this weekend before I return to work. Did I mention how much I love federal holidays??

That's the most interesting spot I've seen one. I will admit directly under the steering wheel isn't the coolest and I'm still figuring out where to put ours.

i mounted mine right to the right of your knee when youre driving, accessible, not under the dash, but you still know its there when you step in.

Started putting in my ToyTec Ultimate Lift yesterday. Well my mechanical inclenation is like 1 out of 100, and the instructions sucked. But after running into multiple issues with the UCA i will have it finished tomorrow! Ended up rounding off a bolt on one of the brackets under the skid plate. Will have my 285/17r/70's on tomorrow!

As a CT new Englander, seems to be:
CT Drivers: on their phones, looking out the window, clueless
NY Drivers: tailgating or in a huge hurry
MA Drivers: swerving through traffic and cutting off
NH and VT: doin their own thing, not usually speeding
ME Drivers: they have a nice state, why leave
NJ Drivers: get outta my way, got a long drive left. !
Either way, it's all good, just a few funny observations, we're all like those descriptions some days.

I like being in NH. There are passing lanes and people aren't driving like absolute idiots
