Haha, thanks. It was for the lower shock bushing on the post. Wasn't going on easy, little wd40 and a bfh.

Adjust them to where your sway bar is as horizontally level as possible.

Took my 4R to Toyota on Monday to get a bunch of stuff done..
Oil change, 4 wheel alignment, balance. New front bumper because one of my customer's side swiped his motor home a crossed the front of my truck. Also replacing my rear bumper since I backed into a tree off roading a few months back. And ofcorse a FULL detail, that things a mess. In the mean time my service advisor gave me her sexy lifted Tacoma to drive for the week and its really making me wana lift the 4R. Can’t wait to get it back

If you measure the distance between the lower control arm of the rear axle and the closest distance to the bottom of the extended link. The measurement shouldn't be less than 1 1/4 inches. This will gain you the most flex without having the sway bar end links come in contact with the lower control arm during flex off road.

I have a few buddys that work at that tires plus but ive had disagreements with the managment there when they worked on my silverado so i wont go back lol thats awsome tho not too many people on here in my neck of the woods. you live in DC?

Actually scratch that, it's in Fort Washington, sometimes I get all these MD places confused... I juts got the lifetime alignments and firestoen did a piss poor job.

Thanks! :cheers: I don't think its quite as good as yours (yet) but I was just tired of messing with it. I'll probably be ordering the same emblem in white (and possibly painting the surround) so that should tie it together.

Those blackout headlights look a lot better than the ricey ebay ones, IMHO.
I went to Discount Tire and got another Hankook Dynapro ATM put on my spare tire. I plan on going to 5-wheel rotations when the time comes. I didn't get to see what kind of dry-rot was on the OEM spare after 10 years of non-use.

At 89,309 miles I finally switched my transfer case to synthetic thanks to the awesome write-up. Here is the fluid in there looked and smelled fine
Next was the front differential as well was switched to synthetic. This smelled not to great but not horrific. Was very black and towards the end of draining came out kind of milkshake like(top right of photo you can see where I wiped the plug off on the towel and its thicker consistency)
Lastly after this I buttoned up the skids since I never put them back on after my lift and diff drop.
Rear diff is another story. I might need to go buy a special tool as the previous fill plug is pretty much shot.
And rotated my tires

Anyone tried putting a phone as a "control center" in their truck? I have a spare Sony Xperia Acro S and it's got this kind of cool feature where it has touch-charging, just stick in cradle and its good (no connectors). Music, nav, dash cam? Maybe bluetooth ODB reader?
Wondering if there is someway to do a steath install with bluetooth streaming music to a stock JBL head unit? (non-nav..) I wouldn't care about calls at ALL, only to get the music over there wireless (mainly because the 3.5mm jack is on the top, and the charge area is on the side)
Any ideas? Thoughts? I'm trying to figure out how to do this without too much :redbrick: but it's getting harder.
