What did you do with your 4runner today?

Nothing I worked on, but Received my Yellow HIDs Courtesy of LTDSC(Thank you Sir!!! for your generosity) ... AND..
My GOBY Ladder(Thanks again chudiddy)!!! I'd show you guys a picture but it's still in the box lol

Trying to piece a few more things before it gets installed...

PS: I was thinking of starting a build thread but I don't think in the end, I will have enough significant items to support a thread of my own.. So for now, this is where I will show off my things lol

you're the man! Though, since installing those I have had a few burn out in the last few months. :wtf:

I also broke one. I always thought it was an internal resistor, but it's actually just soldered to the LED in line. They're really expensive for just that...

I never thought much about it since I had the title but I was reading if the title was ever lost it would be a pain as it would get sent to the lien holder since they were still on file with the DMV. Strange thing is we payed off my wife's 06' Matrix and the 04' 4runner at the same time in 07'. Both were purchased at the same dealer though mine was purchased in 03' financed through Toyota and hers purchased in 06' financed through B of A, her title came with no lien holder info printed on it. I think they do some kind of electronic title now and once the note is payed off they inform DMV who then issues a paper title with no lien info. Anyways, piece of mind for $15 not ever having to track down and have a new title signed off if I ever lost the original.

Thanks for the explanation. I paid off the 4Runner in 11/2008 and got the title shortly thereafter. I popped it into the safe and hadn't thought about it until you posted. I checked the title this AM and sure enough the bank was listed on the title.

$7.20 extra and 60 seconds at the DMV and now no lienholder on the title.

It's a slight modification to the bumper...slightly different lines than the OEM one that was removed...

So ever since it has been cold out and I' ll let truck warm up for a few minutes and either right when I shift into drive or drive leas then a mile these lights come on?!? Any clues into this. The quick remedy( obviously not my long term solution) is to turn the car off and then back on and the codes never come back? Any ideas or input. Tried searching without much success.

Try a zero point calibration. If that doesn't work look at the condition if the abs sensor wire on the passenger side.

I have the same lights on and it is due to my wire getting damaged when my suspension is extended. I plan on making a longer wire.

Well since it was in the mid 80's here today, and I had the day off, I finally got around to doing a full paint resto, I washed it using dawn, then used a rubbing compound, polish, and wax, then washed it again. It finally reflects light again, I took it off road (mudding) and I think I left the trophy dirt on too long, and the chemical composition in the dirt had it's dirty way (pun intended) with my paint. Pics to come tomorrow.

topped off the fluids, checked the lugs and grabbed all my tools and recovery straps along with jumper cables and an emergency pack. Tomorrow shall be an adventure.

My Rola Rack with the extension showed up today , it's crazy I ordered it Wednesday night and it showed up this afternoon. Still waiting on the low pro brackets, might just throw it on the normal way tmrw until I get the brackets !

I also went to Home Depot and bought some black silicone caulk and put it where the rack buts together and where the screws go in. I know there where a couple people who had issues with water getting in those areas.

Over all happy with the quality for what it cost and a good alternative for now for a nice and functional rack until I can save up and get a WMW !!!

Got half of my order from RCI Metalworks, front engine skid and transmission skid. My transfer case skid should be here next week. I washed them tonight and I'll be painting and installing tomorrow afternoon! Very happy with the quality.
