Dropped the 4Runner at the dealer to have the Driveline TSB performed. Been having the clunk, and it's under warranty.

1. They can't duplicate it.

and

2. The Toyota tech she talked to claimed that the TSB doesn't ACTUALLY fix the problem.

I'll be following along as I want to do the same this winter. Are you going to beef up front CV's and axles ?

I'm adding chrome molly shafts to the rear. Just putting fresh CV Half shafts on the front as i carry spares and there not to hard to swap out. Running a TJM rear air locker, ARB front locker both with nitro 4:56 gears. (I liked TJM's solenoid design better and there company has actually been building lockers well before ARB was ever a thought they just didnt offer one for our front clamshell's)

Installed my new cheap (but surprisingly awesome looking) aluminum mesh grille inserts from ebay. Only $54 for all 3 pieces, it will hold me over just fine so I can take my time on the satoshi grille I plan to build over the next few months.
