Nice. I went on the powerlines. For the first time but i didnt know how illegal it was lol. One guy told me it could be a 300 dollar fine and some other kinda drunk guy. Lol said i could get arrested.

today I opened up a big box from the FedEx guy and found my curved 50" light bar!! now I just gotta get this thing mounted up and there will be light for days!! ready for some night trail riding!

Now the insurance company is gonna own it, and I'll be looking for a new truck.

That picture is half-way through the recovery. Initially it was 100% submerged, and had even rolled off the the end of the boat ramp which has about a 2 foot drop. I did some free-diving to get my tow strap out, tied it to the frame, got it hooked up to the "duck", and then more free diving to put it in
neutral.

The Duck pulled it as far as the photo before the strap broke.

I'm gonna miss my 4Runner. Can't afford a new one (5th gen).

Might try for another 4th Gen... we'll see.

yeah they don't like you wandering off the trails too much haha. but I've never seen a ranger or any DEEP patrols in there so you were probably safe to do it. those power line trails are well traveled

Nice good to hear. Lol. I was using my gps for the trails. But i didnt wonder off to much since i didnt want to get lost or get stuck.

Spent a couple of hours under my '04 cleaning up rust today. Bought a new Needle Scaler to do the work for me. First time using one and I have to say that they are pretty slick. Got most of the frame and suspension done up front. Really sad how bad a one owner 4Runner can get underneath.

Tomorrow I should be able to finish up with the needle scaler and then I get to pressure wash it to remove the rest of the dust and dirt. After that dries I will apply the Rust Reformer and then paint.

Did some maintenance on mine. Replaced my front left brake caliper, changed differential oil ( holy f*ck what a messy job), and changed spark plugs. I think it was about time to change them too...

Added more parts to the pile. Thanks [MENTION=87036]YotaDan[/MENTION] for the quick delivery. Wheelers is awesome to work with and I actually emailed them to find out if it was going to make it this weekend, Dan got back to me right quick and ensured it was good to go.

I think I have everything I need to comfortably lift the truck and ensure handling as a DD with a correct alignment.

Washer just needs to be cleaned, otherwise it's good. Look back a few pages where I posted the stack of tires. The garage is trashed right now. I was in the middle of a custody battle when I got in a motorcycle accident that broke some bones and made me immobile for awhile, and that combined with lawyer's fees forced me to move back to my mom's house for a bit back in January. 80% of my apartment is stuffed into the garage right now.

Finally washed my rig and detailed the inside. Got the new light bar up and running! Next up look for a heavy duty alternator and replace my tie rods, then on to the rear end build
