What did you do with your 4runner today?

Did some quick Photoshop cut and pasting today... Trying to decide if the Nfab nerf bars would be a good purchase. Thoughts? :jump:

It looks fine with them but if you're taking it off-road I'd recommend sliders instead.

I agree with CXS. I love the look of them but if you wheel it your going to catch them on everything.

do sliders. i bought sliders for the woman and she uses them every time to get in/out. Highly recommend.

Sliders also provide protection from those unaware "close-parkers" who like to try to door-ding your car...the sliders stick out slightly enough to provide their doors dings while protecting yours...

I had the N-Fab bars on mine and I ended up selling them. If you do any type of offroading, go with sliders. I wish I would have spent the $$ on sliders now rather than getting those N-Fab bars

Thanks for the input guys. I think y'all are right; even with the mild 2WD offroading I do, it makes more sense to go with sliders that will provide protection as well as a good step for passengers. I'm 6'2" (with giraffe legs :llama so I don't have much of a problem, but most other people that climb into my 4R comment on how difficult it is.

One of my main reason to get slider is for the door dings to stay on the other person car and second reason for the occasional offroading i do i just dont know which one. To get when funds get to me.

I kept seeing pictures online of Engineer Pass, so I went out and did it. The last half was really rough rocky terrain, but ol' 4runner had no problems on it. Wish I would have took some pics of that.

I'm 6'2 and am annoyed at the 4runners low roof (without sunroof), I couldn't imagine being 6'8 in one.
