The 4 plus cross member fit, but not perfectly, man a fre doesnt list the 4 runner as having the 3rd skid but they can modify the FJ skid to work special order. It was the last peice I received from them and when I finally got it (4 months later) I threw it on quick like.It is a very nice peice and way overbuilt but I was getting vibrations from the drive train especialy in reverse. The other 2 skids went on perfectly. but the cross was resting on the back of the transfer case where the old transfer skid mounting holes are. I had to drill a hole there to clear it, drill all of the mounting holes on the end of the cross member and then grind out a section where the peice was already notched to fit around the transfer case bump stop. It sucks because I had to chew up all that beauitiful powder coat but its not bad and you cant tell i messed with it. Also , I cant find hardware to fit all of the threaded holes in the frame so it is only attached with one #8 metric bolt on either side. It does wrap around under the bottom of the frame so it wont move up , but what size are those stupid bolts supposed to be ? Not 8 or 7, weird
