Thanks! I'm down in Quincy and recently picked up an 03 V8 4x4 Limited with 87K on it so figured it might be worth checking out maintenance and potential mods... After going through some of the threads it looks like I have a gear oil change in my near future.... Have ordered all the stuff I need for it and as soon as it comes in will be looking forward to spending some quality time in my driveway,,,,,:thumb3:
BTW, forgot to mention in my earlier post that I usually don't take the lowest grade of gas so that probably explains the price difference.... Before I got my 03 I had a dodge caravan with 250K or so miles on it.... Used to have problems with the injectors about once a year and a friend recommended that I fill up with mid grade instead of the lowest grade gas.... Since I started to do that have had zero problems (9 years of so since the change) so am a believer that the grade of gas makes a difference at least in the fuel injection running well.... Van is still running well and now belongs to my son.....

I understand about running a tank of higher octane every once and a while. I run a full tank or two of Irving premium every three or four months, and especially as the first tank on a road trip. I went to NJ two weeks ago and I got 365 miles on 19.5 gallons. This is with a truck full of gear, a lift, and some bigger tires. I'm proud lol.
Now my mileage is atrocious because I ruined my trans

Awesome mileage particularly loaded like that! The best I've gotten with mine so far is 17mpg or so.... Sorry to hear about your tranny.... What happened?

Made and mounted my plate for my aux fuse box. Now got to wait for al my wires to come in

Yeah, I can't wait to feel them grab on the trails; got me a little higher off the ground as well (~ 3/4"). They certainly look more proportional in my wheel wells. No rubbing lock to lock !

Drove around Reno not doing much but came home about 6 and am in the process of the following...
1. Wire the 20" LED lights to the high beams (2" extension and a on-off switch in the cab so that I can turn it on AND have it come on w/ the high beam, or just high beams normally versus on/off in the cab, hence two relays)
2. Daystar wheel spacers from Burtman Industries
3. Budbuilt skid plate (3 massive pieces and a cross member) to match up with my Shrockworks bumper
4. Finish up the DDM LED's driving lights for the rear (helps get the attention of morons who can't figure out that they've been high beaming me for the last 10 miles)
5. Re-adjust my rear air suspension while I have the rear tires off to maintain about a 3/4" to 1" difference between the front and rear heights. It was 38" F / 39" rear until I put in the 12,000 lb winch and I'm expecting the 100+ lbs of armor to affect things just a wee bit more.
