What did you do with your 4runner today?

Rear brakes are seized now... Not sure if its the e-brake or the calipers... I'm getting 14mpg all of a sudden. Lots of "hesitation" requiring me to stomp on it to get it to speed up, loss if momentum, and I can't coast for the life of me..

No I mean in photos even when its clean, the body lines and wheels tend to blend in not giving alot of definition in pictures. In person it looks great.

just picked up some take off OEM shocks for the rear. Now all i need is sway bar relocator and then i can throw on the coil overs.

Sadly I get sub 14mpg with my v6.

You don't need them, just take off the front sway bar.

Yeah winter I have been averaging MAYBE 16 in the summer I can up to 18 driving normal. . hwy best tank I got was 22mpg.

It's definitely different from Friday. Wheeling on Saturday made my ABS go crazy and it probably over-applied braking force and caused a caliper to seize. That or my emergency brake seized yet again...

I would definitely replace all 4 calipers, pads and shoes. That is quite common for the 4th Gen to have the calipers seize up.

Well I just did my fronts a month ago for the 4th time, this time with pads and rotors too, so I guess I have to start a yearly replacement schedule with my fronts and rears now.....

stuffed it with an old 32" tv and one of those kids raised beds with stairs and a twin matress. didnt think it would all fit and i dont think i will have that truck packed so full ever again

With a definite stuck right rear caliper/e-brake.

I was getting 19mpg last week with my 285 Duratracs. Now I'm getting 12-13 after wheeling Saturday. Makes my ~1,000 mile per week commute suck really bad!

Getting this fixed under warranty tomorrow. About time

I want to get the Brembo rear calipers for the FJ. We have the same size rear disks anyway. Brembo makes some gooooood calipers.
