spent some time taking apart my console and cleaning it up. it was so bad i had to stop and turn the truck off because it got over the outlets. i sent them a wonderful e-mail and hope to hear back from them soon

Drove it from Pittsburgh to Indianapolis Monday morning, then back to Pittsburgh last night for work with the old man. Ran like a dream as usual. About 20mpg going there and about 22mpg coming home (crappy weather, slightly slower avg speed). My dad must have told me 12 times how much he likes the sound of my exhaust lol
I used to think the seats were somewhat comfortable but after spending 24 straight hours in it 2 weeks ago (stuck in one spot on 77 for 13 hours due to major accident on way to NC) and this week's road trip....
My back is freaking jacked up :rant: bad. And i dont have any back problems either
Now about to seriously start looking to swap out the front seats

Ya i might have to give that a shot. Doesn't appear to be any reasonable swapping options.
Now the question is, fit it nicely under some seat covers or go all white trash and bungee that shit on lol

Went to the Dealership to get some seatbelt extension as I have had numerous complaints from backseat passengers how big of a PITA it is to sometimes get the seatbelt buckle to click because the receiving end is so far down in the seat. Went through a bunch of loop holes and they said they don't do that anymore as the extensions can cause an ejection in an accident?! Also finalizing some suspension to order to install before my SHROCKWORKS bumper gets here. A good wee and its only Wednesday!?!?!

i know when i was at Toyota we had to measure you in the seat, if you were indeed "too large" to safely buckle the seat belt that would warrant a seat belt extension but if not we were not allowed to the give them out.

Right thats what he stated I just remember initially they would give them out to anyone, but now they said that technically they are not "safe". It is fine in the end I ended up talking with the service manager for about 20 minutes who has a 3rd gen Runner and told him about t4r.org. He said he has never heard of it and that he is a moderator over on toyotanation.com. Was a nice guy and I walked out with some new information. . . and some 4runner/FJ accessory pamphlets.

Have a professional install it. My jag had the millenium package (2000 XJ8) so I didn't have to have my interior dismantled. I will do this to my truck when my seats get uncomfortable. Having back issues and nerve damage, I need something good for my back. I find these seats really comfortable though! Fabric seats ftw

Sounds like my truck. I went from a 2 page invoice to 6 pages since I lifted it. Lol.

No I fully agree. I just laugh because the Toyota tech even said other people come in complaining saying that other manufacturers give them out like candy haha
