I really want to lift it but once i bought it all, it was sitting there and i just have zero ambition to work on it and do all that work for very little change. Especially when i can use the money i spent elsewhere. Not to mention my suspension and everything now is just fine.
It sucks getting older and realizing how much i waste on cars.

Which ones did you go with?
Won't work on stock applications, I think. (Unless you have a Subaru STi or something)

Put a new set of front brake pads on.
Pins were a little rusted, a punch was the trick to get them out.
I didn't buy new pins, so I cleaned the old ones up with my angel sander.
Everything seemed to go together fine, good design for maintenance.
The pads seemed to have a coating on the back and I didn't have any of the anti-squeal grease, so I just put them on with some small lube that came with the pads.
Bedded the pads in and no squeal, so hopefully I am good.

Both the idler and tensioner pulley will tend to make the sound at idle or reved up, just a little louder at high idle. Can make a better judgement call from the front of the motor. If your not sure, take a mechanics stethascope and place on the bolt that holds it on while running and if it is them u will hear it clearly. You can use this also on other components to isolate where the problem is at. JUST BE CAREFUL OF MOVING PARTS WHEN TRYING THIS. I'm not responsable for any missing limbs or body parts while trying this.

It's my idler pulleys. I got up to my hood in NJ dirty water in like October or something and I haven't replaced em yet

Just ordered idler pulleys (2 upper, 1 lower) from Rockauto. Don't wanna wait 5-6 days to have it delivered tho!
