Got board again, removed badges except 4wd, plastic dip them and door handles. Did the constant 12v power supply. Wish that bumper would get here, would keep me busy more than a few hours.

Drove it back from my ranch in Blanco TX, had a blast up there.
Probably the most intense wheeling i've done in a while.
And a case of trail damage.... :crybaby:

Read all the threads about how hard this is , on your 1 to 5 scale where you got it ? Bought some depo blacked out 1s , don't trust myself to paint & bake !

crawling a steep hill after it rained, started slipping back and my brakes locked up.
and then my 4runner made friends with a tree.
New taillights should be here wednesday though so no worries.

Yesterday I washed the exterior by hand for the first time since I've owned it. I just haven't had time to do it, or when I had time the weather wasn't very nice. But it also felt really nice to have a driveway and space to do it too. Feels like I've deprieved myself for the last two years. I also used some wheel and tire foam on the tires that was badly needed. The tires look like new again and the wheels look pretty good except for all the road damage from the last 11 years.
Today I took out the carseat out to adjust the straps and ended up cleaning out the back seats. All sorts of food crumbs, drink spills and whatever else. I also had to get some dirt out of the back from buying a tree at Lowes last night. I might still try to get back out there to work on the front seats or that might wait until tomorrow when I planned to clean the rest of the interior anyway.

Not really knuckle busting at all. I could fit my 1/4 ratchet with a short 10mm socket inside the bumper where the 4th bolt is located. Just undo the front fender well liner on both sides.

Awesome good to hear gonna put a cpl hrs aside & do this soon , I figured I like the blacked out look but don't think I can handle all the stuff to DIY myself . Maybe send the oem 1s off to some one to do .

I dunno if a tail light will fix that hatch... But hey if you don't care then I don't care!
My old truck looks like a full beer can that's been rolling around in the bed of a truck for a couple weeks, entirely from trail relationships...

You can check out sickhids.com My friend out in NorCal does very nice work and builds each set to your specs.es very good , thinking about getting a set myself. HID projectors with angel eyes and black everywhere.
