Spent the entire day painting/undercoating. I took off the gas tank skid first to find about an inch of dirt and sand built up underneath. That thing is such a PITA to remove. Couldn't get too many pictures because it was dark when I was all done. But I got a couple.

Gas tank skid removed, before I cleaned it:

I used Rustoleum automotive, high heat resistant up to 2000 degrees. I sprayed the exhaust pipes and cats too. And yes it was several hours of hard work, especially with no ramps or anything, those would have helped a lot if I had them.

Nothing bad to say about FJ's here. I would definitely drive one. I actually didn't know they came in manuals.

Man I wanna grab a manual trans out of a Taco or Fj so bad! You know how BA it would be to have a manual 4th gen?? If my trans goes out I will make the swap for sure. Other wise it's a waiting game before doing that kinda swap.

I love FJs but I ultimately chose 4Runner. Just felt there was more value, comfort, practicality to them. 4Runners are such good looking trucks too. I love the look of the FJ too but they're not as good looking, or dare I say, "manly" as 4Runners haha

Which is weird because I don't feel the 4runner is manly looking on its own. It takes some good money to make it that way.

That's true. Stock it's got a handsome look to it. All it takes is a simple leveling kit to make it manly though. It looks a ton better with the front end off the ground IMO.

Btw - married at 27 here. Been with my wife since I was 23 though. (I'm 31 now and we have a beautiful 6 month old as well now). Ya don't need 45 chicks to have a happy life... Just saying. If the man's got something good, that's awesome!

She's the perfect woman. We have both been through a lot and have matured pretty young. It's not like I'm marrying her tomorrow or something... We are gonna wait a year or 5. Definitely not soon! I followed Beyonce's advice, I liked it, so I put a ring on it haha.

Do what you both feel is best for you because ultimately it's y'all's decision. I'm 35 and married 7 years now and we have the best 3 year old boy on the plant and another kiddo on the way. I'm a pretty manly man but I can tell you I don't reach half my potential without my wife! Congrats to you both and all the luck to you!

There was a log to sit on whilst I entertained folks. I was sitting on my roof.

There was an AWESOME 2004 that has everything you could imagine on it. He's from western MA. He was a cool dude!

This run was so much fun! You should come next year Absolute Yota!
