What did you do with your 4runner today?

Cut myself a sticker in honor of Light It Up Blue for Autism awareness month. Just on our end of the street we have three families with kids that are autistic, in varying levels of the spectrum.

Picked up and hauled my grandpa's old bumper pool/poker/dining room table to my house. Juuuuuusssst enough room lol.

Then dropped it off at my buddy's garage to have FJ coils put on and have a few other things checked out since im pushing 100k! Woot!

Dropped it off for MD inspection so I can put my plates on it.

It failed inspection because of the following:

The infamous driver's seat wiggle
Two loose/missing CV boot clamps on the front inner boots (the boots and CV joints are fine, at least)
Needs rear brakes

I also found out that the battery is definitely no good. After 24 hours on a battery tender a few days ago, it wasn't even 80% charged, and I had to jump it again last night to start it.

Yeah, it's the most annoying part of buying a used vehicle. But once it's done, it never needs to be done again unless it is sold or traded. No annual inspections here.

Oh okay, that's not so bad. We have emissions only testing here, and I think it's every two years.

bad day for me and my buddy's T4Rs

Ever wondered if ur T4R windshield would hold up to a Turkey? well they don't. This is my buddy Matt's 4Runner. Also yesterday my stupid ass hit a tree...this bumper was just replaced a few months ago when the deer hit me. Damn good thing me and Matt both work at Toyota lol (sorry these pics are so big, I don't know how to fix that)

A little bit of both lol My other buddy Kevin was sitting in the passenger seat and all the blood and guts got all over him. I think its halarious

He was only doing bout 55 mph which is the speed limit there. Its was a big turkey, half of it flew over the truck and then as you see the other half came through the windshield

Same thing happened to a buddy of mine several years back, he was doing about 55-60 in his k5 blazer when a hawk came through the windshield and hit his passenger seat... He said he didn't know what to besides pull over and push the hawk out of the truck, luckily it didn't mess anything up besides the windshield.

I wonder how frequently this actually happens to people?
