did my grille today but left the V8 badge chrome so itll stand out a little, did all the badges a couple weeks ago

Getting these silver pieces hydro dipped! (Not today but I got a quote today and I'm super pumped!)
My pattern of choice. The red will be OEM Toyota salsa red pearl to make them tie in beautifully (ignore the taco emblems)

Started addressing some minor issues today so it will pass inspection next time I take it in.
Out with the old, in with the new:
Took my time cleaning the battery cables, got it all back together and then proceeded to FREAK the **** out. It kept stalling out and wouldn't idle unless my foot was on the gas.
I've never had that happen before and thought I got something too wet when I rinsed off the battery terminals after cleaning... then I thought about all the pics I've seen here of 4Runners submerged up to the door handles and I figured I must be wrong.
I started thinking it was related to the ECU, so I unhooked the battery again to reset it, and cleaned the TB while I was at it. Here's what I saw when I pulled off the intake hose:
Started up fine on the first try and runs like a champ again.
Now I need to address the inner CV boot clamps, hopefully I will get to those tomorrow.

Since I still have a 2 1/2" spacer lift in the rear, and have a driver side lean from ome lift in the front. Decided to trim the passenger spacer 1/2" to level the lean. Now just waiting for the trim spacers to come in and add to the driver side to finish the lean.
The trimming took some of the lean out on the front and back. Don't look so much / anymore.

It's $0.50 per square inch. My total is $425 including OEM salsa red pearl which is pricy paint to begin with. Stupid mod but worth it. The opportunity presented itself, I'm keeping my truck forever anyway, so might as well, eh? This stuff is durable and my interior trim is scratched and gouged to hell anyway
