What did you do with your 4runner today?

Cleaned the MAF over lunch as well as upgraded to fully adjustable coil over suspension from Toytec as I didnt want to wait for my other shock and springs on back order. This weekend will consist of throttle body cleaning. I feel kind of productive.

The 285/65 18 is kind of in the lead right now.....if i have to blame anybody it is vtecmonster for posting these pics of his truck. He is the reason i got these wheels too!.....LMAO! We have the same 18x9 wheels with the same -12 offset. Those are 285/65 18 BFG KO's.......

I may be doing the math backwards or something but I have an 8 inch wide rim with a 4.25" backspacing I came up with a -6mm offset? or would that be a +6mm offset just curious so whenever people question what offset is needed to run say a 12.5" tire I can be correct in what I tell them and I dont have to explain what back spacing is..

I think i am worse than my wife trying to pick out an outfit.....lol. I have been bouncing back and forth between tires and sizes. These are the sizes i am debating on:

• 275/70 18 (33.16" x 10.83")

• 265/70 18 (32.61" x 10.43")

• 285/65 18 (32.59" x 11.22")

• 275/65 18 (32.07" x 10.83")

I'm glad it's not just me... Lol. I took MONTHS to decide on my wheel/tire choice..!

Not sure about a regular interval of cleaning it, I mainly just do mine if I see my idle RPM's getting low like around the 500rpm area.

and use CRC brand "throttle body cleaner" lol you can't miss it at the parts store. Also grab a can of CRC's MAF sensor cleaner as keeping that sensor clean helps MPG's and efficiency as well.

Dammit! Always giving another thing to do. Thanks a lot guys! LOL

Took off the rear hatch trim piece and applied primer. I'm gonna paint it tomorrow while I detail my truck. Also gives me an opportunity to take care of the bit of rust under it.

Haha I started replying before I even read your whole post.. I was going to mention taking care of the rust. I actually yanked that trim piece off last summer and took care of that rust from the poor design there.
