What did you do with your 4runner today?

Brought the family out to Barber Motorsports Park for the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. Perfect day for racing, minus all the pollen in the air
 
i guess they wanted to preserve the JBL label for 10 years.

Its bugged me since i got the 4runner, now i finally had enough.

little solvent and a heat gun does wonders. So much better, im becoming way to focused on the smallest things.

I had mine in the windshield for a 10 hour drive to Florida from Virginia. Still need to put that into a video

I video'd my run in Pismo with my last truck. 80% of its boring but its fun putting it all together and using whats useful.

That looks great Mike! However, I really wish you hadn't posted that b/c I had finally talked myself out of leaving the side marker/plastic off...now i'm not so sure again.
EDIT: I just caught the blacked out trim piece on the hood scoop. Very nice touch, especially on the white.

BTW, do you have any more pictures post lift? What type of numbers (bumper height wise) are you at now. I'm really considering a 1" BL myself.

Thanks for the props!

I couldn't imagine doing the lights any other way.

The scoop is a subtle touch, surprised you caught that! Makes the scoop "pop" out a little bit.

Just did the re-lift last week. Still have some work to do but I gotta get some pictures of it. Crappy weather, too much work and travel, and a couple of kids take a lot of the time. I need to get the SLR and tripod out an do a shoot.
 
Liscense plate

Took the plate off from in front of the winch hole and drilled some hole on the 45 degree angle of the SW bumper and installed it there. Just need the alum fairlead now and put it where it belongs.

I know right, nearly everyone else (at least those with builds I follow) already has one. I've been tossing around the 1" BL for a long time now...I need to just suck it up and do it. The 1" seems to be the perfect balance b/w enough lift to justify the install without all the added, extra work of steering spacers and look of overly-stretched bumpers.
