Thank you I am sure I will. After sitting in it and driving it yesterday I forgot how much I loved sitting up high! I cannot wait to be back in a truck. But I am going to have to swallow really hard at the pump...I drove diesels after selling the 04 Runner and now I am a bit spoiled with how far my tank will get me. Most likely I will faint the first time

Well, how f*cked am I? Only ONE of 4 brake line couplers on the rear brake lines came loose. The others started rounding. I need to replace the stock lines with my Toytec lines.
They rounded even with the flange nut wrench! WTF!?
What do I do? Cut the couplers off and put new ones on with a flange tool?
Really frustrated right now

put down the wrenches. take PB blaster to the lines and wire brush get as much corrosion off as you can and then take a pair of small vise grips and clamp on to that thing. use another set of pliers or something to hold the brackets in place so you don't bend them.

Been using PB blaster but yeah, corrosion is bad.
Hopefully that works. I'll try that when it stops raining

Like your truck too I would have preferred a lighter color ( mine is black now) but beggars cannot be choosers.....

When I went to bleed my brake lines, the fluid was DISGUSTING! I am gonna flush my system in a few weeks.
Anyone have issues keeping the Toytec lines clipped in the brackets? Mine keep going through my bracket... Really annoying
Also, the bolt that holds the brake line bracket on to the axle sheared while I was backing it out. Really frustrating. I will have to drill out and tap that to keep the bracket from rattling, etc.
Glad this is finally done. I'm gonna go cry in the corner now. These lines kicked my ass all day.

I little more plastic was cut off for some last minute rubbing I discovered. I got it all packed and ready to head out tomorrow with our 4runner convoy to GSMTR.

Sadly Momo the truck with the cladding was sold this year, which was a grand mistake :sobbing:. I actually liked my cladding and wish I could have my truck back.
The new truck has no cladding as it is a 07....so no more standing out
I had people all over Europe liking the cladding
I've always thought the 4R looks more off-road worthy with the cladding. It probably is better for fending off scratches & dents too. I've always liked it.

Adam and I had a little LED swap party last night, mine went pretty easy but we ran into some problems with Adams due to too much solder being on the pads.

edit edit - just realized my gear shifter isn't lit up in that pic! I believe it was working when I got everything buttoned up, maybe something wasn't quite connected well in the pic above.

I think it's just the camra angle not being pointed to where it can see around the speedometer bezel. but it looks awesome!

You may be right, I think the dash cover may be on in that picture, but it isn't in Adam's so that threw me off. Either way I'm gonna post some high quality pics of everything when my last three switch LEDs get here, so we'll see em then.

Hit 50K miles on my 08 last night, guess I can consider it broken in now. Glad I paid extra for the bumper to bumper extended warranty to 100K miles :mullet:
